Amazon.com Here's the full 90-minute show that 'N Sync performed live on HBO at Madison Square Garden in July 2000, including footage of fans outside the Garden before the show telling the camera how much they want to meet their idols. The taped show itself is flashy and professional, full of costume changes and allowing each Sync singer his own lead as they work their way through more than a dozen of their hits, including "It's Gonna Be Me," "Space Cowboy," and of course "Bye Bye Bye." Still, for a group that prides itself on its mildly hip-hop dance styles, the camera work is surprisingly slipshod when it comes to capturing the five boy-toys dancing in unison. The perfect gift for that 13-year-old girl in your life. --Marshall Fine

EXCEPTIONAL October 12, 2000 Jason Douthit (PA) 22 out of 23 found this review helpful
This DVD contains the best performance thus far from NSYNC, for those who missed it LIVE, or when it originally aired on HBO missed out on the best show on earth. I did not see this when it aired live on HBO as i was at the show. But did catch it on a reairing and was blown away again. It was filmed extremely well, and the 5.1 soundtrack on this rocks. The best filmed concert i have seen to date. Fans of the group will be very greatful to own this treasure.
WORTH ANOTHER TICKET OF ADMISSION! December 4, 2000 22 out of 25 found this review helpful
I was very unfortunate not to have seen *NSYNC in concert while they were on thier No Strings Attached Tour but this dvd made up up for that loss. The conert footage was first-class in that it was like you were right up there with them on stage. The 5.1 was good but not great. At the beginning of thier song "No Strings Attached" Lance's voice (the bass) carried too much. And one other minor note was that HBO got off to alittle late start with some of the footage meaning that they didn't show the guys until they were on the ground not when they were comming down from the ceiling. But overall the concert itself was one of the best. Everything from the vocals to the dancing to the keeping the show moving; it was all one complete package. So to all *NSYNC fans this is a definate buy and to those who still don't belive *NYSYNC is for real just give it a chance and you will be suprized as the concert is full of suprizes. A definate watch over and over and over again.
Even for those who dislike Nsync, this DVD manages to impress January 8, 2001 6 out of 6 found this review helpful
Unfortunately, I was one of those not lucky enough to see Nsync during their "No Strings Attached" Tour.(Probably because I live 30 000 miles away from the US). Anyone who watches this DVD can tell it was definitely one of the best concerts ever. The singing and dancing is absolutely awesome and even if you for some reason aren't mad about the group, it'll impress you. The 5.1 Soundtrack makes you feel as if you are actually at the concert(which is a real bonus for someone like me who never got to see it). I can even say that although I never actually saw this concert, its probably the best concert I've ever seen, and I have seen many concerts. The show also includes Justin doing his human beatbox which amazes me every time I watch it. Whether you got to see them live or not, you HAVE to buy this DVD. It is truly in a class of it's own.
Excellent concert, big in lights, fireworks and production! May 30, 2005 Preston (nc) 8 out of 9 found this review helpful
This is really NSYNC at their highest point when they did the Madison Square Garden concert in NYC on HBO! I was in Brooklyn listening to it on Z100 on simulcast when I was there on vacation! On the DVD, it is a phenomenal show, with loads of fireworks blasting on many of the songs. They did a lot of the songs from the No Strings Attached album as well as some cuts from the debut. The best performance is It's Gonna Be Me, which the band played so good live! Followed by the big grand finale of Bye Bye Bye, and numbers such as This I Promise You, Digital Get Down, I Thought She Knew, the '80s looking set during Just Got Paid, the jazzy I Drive Myself Crazy and many others. Justin Timberlake still sounds strong vocally and JC Chasez is also that good in his leads. They put a lot of effort into this show and the stage, lights, and strobe lights are massive, which could rival some of KISS' concerts! While most of the audience were teen girls, I noticed a lot of adults in the audience and many male fans too dancing to the music! They really expanded and broadened their audience with this album as well as their music. One of the best concerts to open in the 21st century!
You feel like a part of the Concert. September 11, 2005 Evelyn (Maryland) 5 out of 5 found this review helpful
Of all the concert dvds and real life concerts I've been to, this is probably the closest you can get if you want to chill on your couch and be part of this thrilling concert. This DVD is amazing, nsync is amazing. I'm not their top fan, but I truly enjoyed the music, and the incredible dance moves. It makes me want to jump up and dance with them! All five of them look great, esp Justin with his curly hair and bandana. They are very adorable, they enjoyed the concert and so did everyone. Watching the concert makes you feel like you are sharing a part of their incredible happiness and fortune, it's sad, but for a spur of moment, it is close to sublime.
