CONTENTS of STREETWISE 4 Movie Pack:
BEYOND JUSTICE-- Mercenary (Hauer) is hired to snatch a boy from his Arab emir father (Sharif) and return him to his American executive mom (Alt). Lots of sand and not enough good acting make this one hard to sit through.
HANGMEN-- Sandra Bulloch's less-than-stellar screen debut is a small supporting role in this muddled action story that adds up to a lot of sound and fury, signifying cheese. Watch for "Raging Bull" Jake LaMotta as a peripheral character.
MITCHELL-- Despite a solid cast, this MST3K favorite really is as bad as you think. Chubby cop with a beer and babe fetish goes after big time drug dealers in a very dated 70s flick.
TWISTED JUSTICE-- In 2020 A.D., LAPD is not allowed any weapons beyond stunguns. One detective breaks the rules in his pursuit of crazed rapist with superhuman strength. Good cast and concept go to waste in a film written and directed by its lead actor.
DRAW THE LINE 4 Movie Pack is another BCI / Eclipse crime drama DVD collection.
BRENTWOOD's 4-fers are nicely priced movie bundles. Video and sound quality of these digitally unrestored public domain films is generally fine. Discs are dual-side recorded.
