Hungry for Lita September 7, 2005 Reijo Piippula (Turku, Finland) 11 out of 11 found this review helpful
This DVD includes great songs Lita Ford recorded during her solo carriere. She was the guitarist in a female rock band called "The Runaways" which was the first real and famous girl rock band. Lita Ford made a great solo carriere after making four studio albums and a live album with The Runaways. Ex-Runaway Joan Jett made a great carriere with songs like "I Hate Myself for Loving You" and "I Love Rock 'n Roll" but Lita Ford wasn't much worse... All the rockers should know songs like "Close My Eyes Forever" (a beautiful ballad with Ozzy Osbourne), "Hungry", and "Kiss Me Deadly". This DVD offeres a live concert and some great videos. There's not all the videos but it is the best you can get...I don't know if there's videos like "Out for Blood" and "Gotta Let Go" anywhere...you have to be satisfied. There's always some legal problems...I'm sure Lita would have wanted those videos in this DVD. If you wanna know about Lita Ford's former band, I recommend you to get some The Runaways albums. ALthough she doesn't sing in that...you can hear her great guitar work.
Track list:
1)Kiss Me Deadly (music video)
2)Dancing on the Edge (live)
3)Broken Dreams (live)
4)Can't Catch Me (live)
5)Hit And Run (live)
6)Fatal Passion (live)
7)Falling in And Out of Love (live)
8)Kiss Me Deadly (live)
9)Close My Eyes Forever duet with Ozzy Osbourne (music video)
10)Back to the Cave (music video)
BONUS:
11)Lisa (music video)
12)Hungry (music video)
13)Larger Than Life (music video)
14)Shot of Poison (music video)
15)Playin' With Fire (music video)
plus interviews and other things...
The live gig is brilliant and most of the videos are too. "Close My Eyes Forever" is a beautiful video and it is defintely a classic. "Hungry" is quite strange because there's a little girl with some funny creatures. "Playin' with Fire"...there's flames in the background...very cool!!! And Lita is hot!!!
Lita is gorgeous and she can rock n roll all over! October 7, 2004 cd-heaven (ROCK CITY) 16 out of 18 found this review helpful
To clear the air (excuse me), this is not a complete music video collection, this is a complete video collection, meaning all of her VHS Video releases are re-released on this DVD. Lita released 3 VHS videos in her solo career they are Lita XX (Live from Wembley), Midnight Snack and the Dangerous Videos vol 1.
Now there are some music videos missing most notably Out for Blood, but that and about 2 or 3 other videos were never released on any VHS form. But this is an essential collection as it contains the music videos for Kiss Me Deadly and Close My Eyes Forever (with OZZY!). The live concert is killer, Lita is so sexy struttin' her arse all over, it's worth it just to see that! Definitely for fans of 80's metal.
Finally on DVD April 3, 2004 aka sr (columbus, ohio United States) 5 out of 5 found this review helpful
Great DVD. It contains her 1988-1989 concert video , 5 later videos, and behind the scenes interviews during the recording of the Hungry video. I just wish there was a current interview of Lita on it

I've been waiting for a Lita Ford video collection for quite some time, so I was extremely thrilled when I first heard about this video release. I was a little disappointed that her first videos with Mercury Records were not included in this collection, but her later videos are just as excellent and rockin' as her early releases. Most of the dvd is concert footage from a tour in England (circa 1989). The quality of this concert is excellent; you feel like you are standing on stage with the rock goddess herself and she is playing exclusively for you. In addition, there are some brief interviews. (I would have liked to have seen a little more of this included.) Overall, this is an excellent dvd, superior quality -- both audio and visually. It gives you an opportunity to spend some time with "one of the most beautiful and talented females rockers of all time".
Great dvd but forgot three videos March 27, 2004 2 out of 2 found this review helpful
This is a great dvd and just got it and can't believe it's out of stock now. It seems like Lita stuff goes out of stock before you know it. Well this has the live stuff first like others have mentioned and videos but they forgot the first three she had: Out for Blood, Gotta Let Go and Dress to kill. Otherwise it's wonderful and if ever goes back in stock I suggest you get it!!
