As a PF fan I am officially disgusted. I thought this wuld be something good for a change about PF, but actually, it's a rather boring tie-in with "Atom Heart Mother, The ultimate critical review".
The preformances are really a joke: They're just a buncha clips which you can't see anything... The picture is distorted and just horrible. Well, not only that, but they're just clips veing repeated over and over and over again.
The host boo-hoo-hoo's about him not getting proper credit for helping them on the tours and albums and that's basically all the host ever talks about.
Don't get this dreck- You'll throw it out the window once you're done watching it. Better yet- you'll wonder why you watched this bomb in the first place.

This set makes a lot of hay on the Pink Floyd name, but in fact, it is not authorized by Pink Floyd, or Pink Floyd's Management, or EMI Records. If you're hoping to see a lot of Pink Floyd Footage and hear a lot of music, you will be sorely disappointed. This is the work of a bunch of people who have declared themselves experts on Pink Floyd, and who spend all of each disc going over the minutia of trivial details they have collected in their own geekdom. They also spout lots of opinions about the quality and value of various Pink Floyd songs and albums. Actual footage of the band and clips of music are few, far between, and very short (Likely whatever the legal limit usable for criticism is without having to actually pay royalties to the copyright holders). Don't waste your money on this at all!
If you want to hear the opinions of a few people who believe they are the bands greatest fans, go ahead and spend your cash, sit back, and listen to them blather on. If you want Pink Floyd, by their albums, buy the Wall, buy Pulse, but do not buy this trash. This is the work of people with little to no talent of their own trying to capitalize on someone else's good name and work.

Another useless video review of Pink Floyd.
All we want is the ultimate video compilation of the band with films that actually exist; material that has been largely bootlegged. Also they must talk to people that actually lived the experience. People like Miles, Chris Welch and /or Andy Mabbet (from the now defunct The Amazing Pudding magazine) coud perfectly conduct the interviews.
This is just a small bunch of the most popular videos, up to DSOTM, that could be the main part for a more proper review. Vintage material from 73 onwards is hard to find in any condition since most of it come from private recording made by enthusiastic fans.
- January 20 1967 UFO Club - Joe Durden Smith filmed the band for Granada TV
- Top of the Pops - April 6 1967 "Arnold Layne" and July 6 1967 "See Emily Play"
- PF at Tabernakel - 1968 BBC promo film for Set the Control for the Heart of the Sun (once available on bootleg DVD)
- Belgium promo clips (67 to 69) - this large selection of promo clips has been largely bootlegged all around the world. Isn't it time for an official release?
- American Bandstand - with Barrett (68)
- Live at KQED studios USA with Gilmour (70) - The first official release was recently withdrawn by OBSCURE and greedy hands... (Who are they?). This one has been available on bootleg as Live at Fillmore both on audio and video.
- PF live at Saint Tropez (1970) - formerly shown on French TV program "POP Deux" and recently available on bootleg DVD.
- Complete Kralingen Pop Festival (70) - on Stamping Ground DVD is shown only excerpts of 2 tracks (bad sound and bad image). The band performed one hour and a half.
- Music Power: European Music Revolution - a film by French director Jerome Laperrousaz based on the 1970 rock festival held at Amougies (Belgium) - The band performed Interstellar Overdrive jamming with festival host Frank Zappa (Zappa denied the meeting but there are photos of it).
- Dark Side of the Moon at Rainbow Theatre - On the official DSOTM DVD is shown a part of this performance in stunning condition (both audio and image).
This is the real thing, so let's stop all these cheap releases. We don't deserve them. Pink Floyd is in debt with all their faithful fans all over the world.
