Amazon.com With any band's video collection, it's as fun to track the evolution of their music as their style. In the first few clips on this DVD, released in conjunction with Greatest Hits, the Offspring come across as scrappy So-Cal skate punks in their Germs and Sex Pistols T-shirts. Then they left Epitaph for Columbia. Their catchy pop-punk-metal sound, in the vein of Social Distortion and Green Day, didn't really change, but by "Gone Away," Dexter Holland had traded in his cornrows for a spiky 'do and patent leather shirt. (No wonder some fans felt abandoned.) Fortunately, the band learned from their mistakes and toned down the new wave look by the next video, "The Meaning of Life," where they race across the desert in wheelchairs, Mad Max-meets-Murderball style. Other highlights include "She's Got Issues" with Zooey Deschanel and "Pretty Fly (for a White Guy)" by McG, who created The O.C.. --Kathleen C. Fennessy

I *swear* it's already out July 14, 2005 9 out of 9 found this review helpful
Okay, I know Amazon says it's not due out for another few days, but I just picked up a copy at Hastings. So, just in case you're curious what you get, here are the facts.
It's got all 17 of their music videos (plus two others that apparently never got air-time), 11 songs in concerts, and a couple of other bonuses.
I didn't have MTV growing up, but I really liked their albums, dating to their original self-titled one. So, for me, I think it's absolutely great to have this collection because I've never seen these videos before. "She's Got Issues" is my favorite at the moment, but they're all worth watching.
Anyway, future reviewers will probably have a better prospective because I'm won over by the newness of it all, but I still highly recommend it to anyone who's even a casual fan of the band.
Easily the best of the fifteen music DVD's I own.

This is definitely one of my favorite DVDs of all time. It has seventeen of the bands videos, eleven live preformances, two bonus videos, the making of Da Hui, Guy Cohen: Where is he now?, storyboard galleries, and a band commentary. This DVD has so much cool stuff it makes my head hurt to write every little feature. If you are a fan of The Offspring, this is a must-have and if if you don't really know who The Offspring are, you should get this DVD for the sole purpose that the Offspring are awesome. Here are the track listings:
1. COME OUT AND PLAY (KEEP 'EM SEPERATED)
2. SELF ESTEEM
3. GOTTA GET AWAY
4. ALL I WANT
5. GONE AWAY
6. THE MEANING OF LIFE

Great for any Offspring fan or music video lover! September 18, 2005 Unnatural Disaster (Atlanta, GA USA) 3 out of 4 found this review helpful
This DVD contains all of The Offspring's music videos including the new song, "Can't Repeat" and 2 Never Before Seen videos, with the option of having a commentary. It also has 11 Live Concert videos. A small documentary on "Where is the "Pretty For A White Guy" Guy now? Plus three secret videos that you have to find....I would say that this is one of the best Music Video DVDs out there!
