The hits on the this cd established Lil' Kim as the hottest and the boldest female rapper of the decade. This version of Not tonight(ladies night) is the first record in a number of years which had allfemale rappers. Lil' Kim, Angie Martinez, Left Eye, Da Brat and Missy make this record sound as good as The original Kool and the Gang version. The crush on you still reflects the late Notorious B.I.G. and Lil' Cease , however Kim's raps make this version tight. Drugs belongs to Kim.
If only these versions were on her album April 27, 2002

I was disappointed with the porn rap that filled Kim's Hard Core album. Thankfully, these three songs have Kim focusing on real lyrical skills and bangin' beats. "Crush On You" has Cease kicking the same verse as on the original while Kim rips it. She does the same on "Drugs" and "Not Tonight (remix)". But for the latter, if the chorus says "It's ladies' night", then why is the song called "Not Tonight"?

the re-mix for not tonight was solid but Crush on you was what I dug the most. still catchy&I Like the Groove.

When "not tonight(remix)" was first released,I simply LOVED IT! Every rapper did their part, Lil' Kim, Missy Elliot, Angie Martinez, Da Brat, and the late and great Lisa "Left Eye" Lopes. This song was Wonderful!
