This is an oustanding album but does anyone expect anything less from ole Bocephus.Too bad country isnt like this anymore..Huh?All the tracks are good and tell the stories of everyday life.Bring back the outlaw country!!!
The best songs you will never hear in any box set! November 3, 1998 5 out of 5 found this review helpful
This is a Hank classic. Overlooked by a few, worshiped by the masses. Habits Old and New is a timeless classic that brings together classic Hank country and a little bit of New Orleans style blues. Hank shows his "family tradition" in this album. If Hank Sr. were alive today, he would be singing these very songs. The album begs to be listened to over and over and over again. If there were six stars to be given this album would receive all six. So if you thought you were a Hank fan before, try this album and hear all the Hank you've been missing.
One of the best June 21, 2000 4 out of 4 found this review helpful
This HANK JR, album offers everything on an album that you could want. The tracks on this album show exactly what Hank's voice is capable of. NOt only does he belt out "If you don't like Hank Williams" but he slows it down and treats you to an insightful song "Blues Man" IF you are just begining to enjoy Hank Jr. this is the album you will want to start with

This is the real Hank Williams Jr in my opinion January 9, 2003 3 out of 3 found this review helpful
It just shows how great he can sing country music when he leaves the rock guitar out. He's good both ways but great this way. I recommend everybody whos a fan of him or country music buy this. Also if you liked the movie Living Proof: The Hank Williams Jr Story and you loved the songs that played in the background then you'll really love it cause its got three songs from the movie on it. 1. Here I am Fallin' Again 2. The Blues Man 3. All in Alabama. All great songs Its simply a GREAT album.
