Amazon.com McGraw is an artist that can spin a tale with only his soulful voice against a canvas of music. He starts his fourth record by painting a vivid picture of a simple, loving country life with "Where the Green Grass Grows," which gives the listener the same desire to live in that perfect place where less is so much more. The impassioned duet "It's Your Love" with wife Faith Hill will be one of country music's most requested love songs. Even in this day of the rehashed country sound, McGraw's haunting vocals boost the music: He has the ability to bring a tear to the eye and then sweep in with lighthearted rockers such as "Hard on The Ticker. --Paula Ghergia

If NOT A MOMENT TOO SOON and ALL I WANT established him as a country hit maker, Tim McGraw's 1997 album EVERYWHERE propelled him into superstar status. The album had a number of huge hit singles. The first single, "It's Your Love", a duet with wife Faith Hill, became a country smash and hit #1 for 6 weeks. An impressive feat. Even more impressive was when the second single "Just To See You Smile" also hit #1 for 6 weeks in a row. The title track was another #1 hit as well. The album also spun off the hits "Where The Green Grass Grows", "For A While" and "One Of These Days". It's no wonder that the album was successful, as there's so many great songs here. Some notable tracks that weren't singles include "I Do But I Don't", and "Ain't That The Way It Always Ends". Overall another great album from Tim McGraw.

This CD is awesome!!!I fell in love with the album instantly. The songs are great, and Tim does a fantastic job on this album. There's a great mixture of upbeat and slow songs, and highlights include "Where The Green Grass Grows", "It's Your Love", "Everywhere", "Ain't That The Way" and "Just To See You Smile".This CD is a must-have, even for non-country music listeners.
Best Country Album July 26, 1999 3 out of 3 found this review helpful
Tim McGraw is my favorite country singer- and "Where the Green Grass Grows" is the reason I got into country! If you like the Dixie Chicks, Faith Hill, or Garth Brooks (at least, "Ain't Goin' Down..."), you'll really like this. :)
A Masterpiece!! April 3, 1999 3 out of 3 found this review helpful
One of country mucic's greatest at his best. "Everywhere" is a masterpiece of modern country music. Each song delivers everyday thoughts and feelings in a fresh and original package. The album showcases all of McGraw's talents, from the love ballad "It's Your Love", that will undoubtedly go down as one of country music's greatest love songs of all time, to the catchy and unforgettable "Where the Green Grass Grows," which really epitomizes what Tim McGraw is all about. He'll make you laugh in light-hearted, upbeat love songs "Hard on the Ticker", and "You Turn Me On", and he'll make you cry in the emotional and touching "One of these Days". And who could forget Billboard's country song of the year for 1998, "Just to See You Smile", which is one of the songs that got me past country music stereotypes and made McGraw my favorite artist. With 5 number 1 hits, and another that reached number 2, song of 1997 ("It's Your Love"), and song of 1998, it would have been a crime if McGraw didn't win the CMA album of the year last year. This is by far my favorite cd and a must-have for any true music fan, country or not.
