as hard as it gets October 9, 2001 2 out of 2 found this review helpful
this is the most fundamentally important of all the earth crisis releases. everything the band was about - crunching death-core sound with eco lyrics is available here. only about 10 minutes long, but well worth the money. thoroughly recommended.
Powerful!!! September 2, 1999 1 out of 1 found this review helpful
This four-song CD is loaded with powerful messages that help the listener question what is happening in society. It is more than just some CD to mosh around to in your bedroom. It is laden with socially conscious messages and addresses issues that need to be dealt with in this society. A truly wonderful recording! Kudos to Earth Crisis! --Kelly Magovern
Earth Crisis' Best Release August 30, 1998 1 out of 1 found this review helpful
This is argueably the best release from these Syracuse, NY straight edge vegans. This record is not as heavy as their latest relase, "Gamorrah's Season Ends", but is somewhat similar to "Destroy the Machines". The songs deal with everything from taking the streets back and rebuilding society to the extermination of Native Americans by our government. If you have an open mind to hear their message, this record will teach you something. This is really a gem of a record which every fan of hardcore music should own.
Short, but sweet March 12, 2004 Kree (Detroit) Ok, so probably the furthest thing from 'sweet'....This little EP is eXc's anthem and an essential for any fan of the band, hardcore, sXe............
Best EC album September 13, 2000 Ben Wiles (Tampa, FL United States) This is their best album in my opinion. The sound of this album parallels snapcase's "lookinglasself," kind of bland b/c of the recording studio, but you forget that after a minute. "Firestorm" has great chugga riffs all the way through it, even gets really fast in a few parts, and Karl's vocals sound their best, not so slurred and scratchy. Definitely get this album if you like EC or hardcore in general.
