Only three songs, but of high quality October 1, 1999 12 out of 12 found this review helpful
The "Flower" Ep contains only three songs: "Flower", "Head Injury" and "Toy box". "Flower" and "Head Injury" are both featured in Soundgarden's excellent album "Ultramega OK", while "Toy box" is only to be found on this Ep.If you're a Soundgarden fan, this Ep is a must, as "Toy box" is one of their all time best. If you're not, I would spend my hard earned cash on something else.
Just buy the b-side March 1, 2008 Justin Gaines (Atlanta, GA) 4 out of 4 found this review helpful
Flower was the first single release from Soundgarden's Ultramega OK album. Like most CD singles, the real value is in the b-side. Both Flower and Head Injury can be found on Ultramega OK, but Toy Box is exclusive to this single. It's a really great song, slow, plodding and doomy in a Black Sabbath kind of way. It's well beyond b-side quality, but I can see how it wouldn't have fit with Ultramega OK's overall sound. Flower is really only for die-hard Soundgarden fans who really want to have all of the band's recordings, and considering the fact that you can buy a download of Toy Box here for less than a buck, it's hard to recommend buying this expensive CD single.
Must Have July 15, 2001 David Mann (Little Rock, Arkansas USA) 5 out of 7 found this review helpful
If you love soundarden, this is a good buy.Its got two songs from an excellent album (ultramega OK). PLUS an erie, dark song sort of possesing song-TOY BOX, which has got to be one of their best songs. MY advice is to buy it while its still in print

BEWARE-THIS IS A SINGLE March 21, 2006 James L. Lewis Jr. (Chattanooga, TN USA) 4 out of 11 found this review helpful
this is a single and you will get the songs on other albums. there are no b-sides or unreleased tracks. spend the money on the album itself. if you are a completist and don't have it don't let this review stop you. however just know that you are not getting anything new.
