5 out of 5 stars Believing that the "Ironic"'s listed are the same or similar   June 12, 1999

Believing that the "Ironic"'s listed are the same or similar this is one of the best singles in my opinion that Alanis has released. The live tracks are excellent. It's amazing sometimes at how much more a live song can affect you than a studio recording. With Alanis on this particular single the live versions of "Wake up" and "Forgiven" have so much more emotion, so much more energy. A level of power that is equal to the lyric. -One complaint: I feel that Alanis' lyrics are smothered by the sound of her studio recordings; her true clarity and balance shines though in most live preformances. Seek them, buy them, love them.

5 out of 5 stars Experience Alanis at her greatest!   July 26, 1998

If you're a devoted Alanis fan, you'll love to add this single to your collection. The songs are from Alanis's concerts, and if you've never seen or heard her concerts, well, it's an amazing experience. Alanis describes it as a huge love in, and there's this intense atmosphere of release... words can't describe it, but this single will give you a notion of how it is like to see the legend herself.. LIVE. Ironic is of course a famous song, and the live version is really cool. Forgiven is one of my favorite songs, because I can really relate to it, and the live version is so much more intense and eerie than the album version, it's a must have. Not the Doctor and Wake Up are songs that everyone can relate to, the lyrics and melodies are so involving. If you don't have Alani's album Jagged Little Pill, go buy it right away, it's the best album in the universe!! END

My godfather gave me this and I love it. I can't stop playing it she is truly one of a kind artist. I love how she did the songs they are so nice to listen to. The songs are powerful when they are live and done right. It gives you a taste of how she sounds live and I love it.

5 out of 5 stars The Song is Great!   February 11, 1999
After hearing this song I fell in love with Alanis' music. I loved the CD

1 out of 5 stars Alanis is soooo deep... (note sarcasim)   February 9, 1999

This has got to be the worst song ever recorded. This woman has no talent! I stepped on my cats tail and it sounded way better than what Alanis sounds like. And to top it off she doesn't even know what ironic means! The things described in this song aren't so much ironic as they just make you mad. What the song really should have been called "Sounds From a Barnyard Bonanza." This CD deserves -10 stars. Isn't that ironic? (don't ya think?)
