Boy was I surprised as a high schooler to hear track # 13. Haha! There are too many interludes on here but as far as song quality goes, these are good tunes. If you want a sexual-horn dog CD, buy this one. "Get On Up" and "Love You For Life" are really the only ~non-sexual~ tunes on here.

DEVANTE SWINGS SHOW HIS TRUE MUSICAL GENIUS. START THE CD ON TRACK 11 AND JUST LET IT GO. KICK BACK AND CHILL, PERHAPS CLOSE YOUR EYES. I GO BACK TO THIS ALBUM EVEN THOUGH ITS LIKE A DECADE OLD CUZ THE BEATS AND ARRANGEMENTS ARE unparalleled! THE BEATS, THE LYRICS, THE HARMONY. THIS IS PURE R&B AT ITS BEST. COME BACK JODECI!!!

Don't get me wrong, i'm one of the biggest Jodeci fans out there. But what is up with this cd? Too many interludes and not enough singing for me to give this cd a higher rating than 3 stars. The only good song on the entire album is "freek n' you." That's pretty pathetic for having 22 songs on the thing. "Love U 4 Life" and "Get on Up" are alright but nothing too special. So unless you're a diehard Jodeci fan I recommend you stay away from this one, and get yourself either "Forever My Lady" or "Diary of a Mad Band," which to me are damn near classics.

Before I start this review let me point out that only one person on this page wrote an actual review(the other two star review)that was also accurate. The rest of these positive reviews sound like groupies and trendies writing them. Not one ounce of originality or thought went into these 4 and five star reviews. Just people saying that Devante is a genius. I find that sad. Let's not kid ourselves for a moment, this album is really bad. It sounds like leftovers from Diary of A Mad Band(the last great album Jodeci made).
The only songs worth mentioning are Freek N' You, Get on Up and Love U 4 Life. These are the only songs that sound like album quality tracks and are vintage Jodeci songs. VH1 and Gender Blender nominated Freek N' You as one of the awesomely bad dirty songs but never nominated Eminem or any "artist" from Shady Records for any awesomely bad song list so the both of VH1 and Blender can kiss the farting buttocks of a dog.
The rest of the songs on this album are forgettable like Fun 2 Nite, Can We Flow, Pump It Back, Time & Place etc. As a matter of fact all of these songs are interchangeable because they all sound alike. The most annoying thing about this album is the time-wasting interludes which take up most of the album. One interlude in particular is called Zipper.
In this interlude, Devante is pleading for a chick to give him skull. Now, I don't know about you but besides it being degrading I thought that skit knocked his ego down a peg. You're Jodeci, why would you have to beg any woman to do anything?
In conclusion this album blows. Outside of three tracks the album is instantly forgettable. The production is repetitive and bland, the singing is uninspired and the lyrics never go beyond sex. If you want classic Jodeci stick with Forever My Lady and Diary Of The Band. This album came out during sexual assault accusation making this album the worst decision of their careers. K-Ci and Jojo broke away from the group and made better albums than this on their own.
Standouts: FREEK N' YOU, GET ON UP and LOVE U 4 LIFE.
