Good but Bias January 12, 2003 Anthony Hanes (winston-salem, north carolina) 4 out of 4 found this review helpful
This is a good soundtrack but bias at the same time. Tupac was the star of the movie and it's set in New York. So...why are all of the rap songs west coast joints...there should have been new york hip hop on there as well. Why wasn't Tupac's "Pain" on there...it was the best song on the musical score....makes me think....
where is PAIN ? December 28, 2001 pipo (PARIS, FRANCE) 4 out of 4 found this review helpful
there isn't PAIN of 2PAC and this is a very bad thing. Fortunaly this CD got REGULATE else it would have been a poor CD. that's why I gave it only 3 stars (excuse my bad english too)
great collection February 25, 2002 Chris DaMour (East Lansing, MI United States) 6 out of 7 found this review helpful
There are some absolute classics on this soundtrack, it's basically a greatest hits of rap between 1993-1995. It is missing two key songs that were in the movie 2Pac's pain & loyal 2 the game. I don't understand why they weren't on it, kind of a let down since i bought it for pain, which any knowledgeable person knows is the best 2pac song of all.
Not as good as everyone says, missing a lot of good songs... October 2, 1999 djquik323@aol.com (Los Angeles) 6 out of 7 found this review helpful
I bought this CD thinking that all the songs from the movie were going to be on it, but there were only about 3 good songs that were from the movie. There is only about 3 or 4 good songs on the entire CD, the rest of the CD is filled with BORING and OLD R/B music. They don't have the song "Pain" by 2Pac, they don't have the Kurupt song, and missing a lot of others. I rarely listen to this CD, not very good.

If there is anybody out there who wants the song pain off of this album then hit me up. I have the original version and the remix version. Have unlimited copies for who needs it.
