After a few weaker albums Death Row comes back much better! May 18, 1999 Philip Y. (Israel) 4 out of 4 found this review helpful
In fact I'd give it a 4.5 rating if I could. Damn, this album has so many GREAT songs on it and only few that are weak (and they are REALLY weak). This album is ten times better than Gridloc'd and it sounds much more like the good old Death Row we all love and miss. It's got many hardcore songs and also a few that're a bit smoother, with an RnB feel to them. Some of the best rappers in the industry are on that album : 2Pac (whose all 4 songs are just amazing, and without a doubt the highlights of the albu,!), Ice Cube, Kurupt, Daz, Mack 10, Snoop Dogg, WC, Nate Dogg, J-Flexx, OFTB and many more. Out of 24 songs there're maybe 4 or 5 songs that I don't like. The rest is just perfect. Songs like 2Pac's "Life's so hard" and Daz's "What's yo fantasy" really take you back to Death Row's greatest days when all the artists were still there, Suge wasn't in jail and DEATH ROW was the top label in the rap industry. This is an important album, because it's one of the last quality albums to come out Death Row, before everything totally fell appart for many reasons.
4 great 2pac Songs. April 16, 2003 A. Catalano (Mclean, Va) 2 out of 2 found this review helpful
Made Niggaz, Rear view mirror are better then any track that has been put out on any of Pac's recent 2000 and 2001 discs. Pick it up. Thug life indeed. Rear view contains a cool sampling of Phil Collins 'in the air tonite'.

I heard this for the first time cruseing though a parking lot looking at girls. Everyone was asking what we were listening to. My friend says the Gang Related soundtrack. They all went and bought it then. Man this is good Stuff. If you are a west cost gangstar rap fan you are sure to love it.This soundtrack alone could be a greatst hits. I love all the 2pac songs. Daz really lights it up in way to major. Ice cubes Song Greed is nothing short of a hit.
Nice Soundtrack, Actually Very Good. April 16, 2004 RapSuperstar (New Jersey) 4 out of 5 found this review helpful
Gang Related realeased in 1997, about a year after 2Pac was killed. The album features a lot of bangers, but it would have been untouchable if it was a single disc, since it features a few fillers. Here's the perfect tracklist for Gang Related, which would have given it a 5 star rating, instead of 4.1. Way Too Major 2. Life's So Hard 3. Greed 4. These Days 6. Mash For Our Dreams 7. Free'em All 8. Starin' Through My Rear View 9. Questions 10.Made N----- 11.Gang Related 12.What's Ya Fantasy 13.A Change To Come 14.Lost Souls But, anyways this album is definitely worth buying if you like westcoast rap, and if you're a 2Pac fanatic, the four songs of him on this soundtrack are all classics. Must be heard.
4.5 star double disc soundtrack November 11, 2004 G$ (B-More, MD) 1 out of 1 found this review helpful
Death Row was still on top of the rap game for the past 5 years before this release and they continued with this double disc 24 song soundtrack. Features most of the Death Row roster at the time, the Outlawz and some others as well (plus a few R&B songs - which are actually pretty good). The production is great on here and it is a must have for gangsta rap mid 90's west coast fans. The movie is pretty good as well.
