Perhaps one of the greatest discographies of its genre (call it whatever you want: emo, hardcore, punk, or mosh music). If you're going to buy a CD from a band named Fuel, this is the one you need, not that glam-grunge crap on the radio.

5 out of 5 stars This is NOT the same Fuel that appears on the radio!   March 27, 1999

This is basically a discography of one of the most innovative post-punk bands of the late 80's-early 90's... The new band called FUEL ripped off the name (possible coincidence) and is totally unrelated. Blending D.C. punk (i.e. Fugazi, Soul Side, Jawbox) with west coast pop-punk (i.e. most bands on Lookout Records at the time) and using gruff dual vocals - they may have paved the way for a new genre (Monsula, Admiral, Side Show...). Having seen them live, I can say that they were one of the most energetic acts I've seen. The drummer went on to join Monsula and the lead vocalist ended up in a band called Pinhead Gunpowder which is also headed by Billy Joe Armstrong (Green Day). This was one of the best albums released the year it came out as far as punk rock is concerned and as far as I'm concerned - I still listen to it all the time.
