Amazed! :) January 24, 2000 9 out of 10 found this review helpful
Far better than their newest album, this album bleeds country music. From "Running Away With My Heart" to "When Cowboys Didn't Dance" A great album and Lonestar should have kept this tradition alive with their newest CD. We can't have everything though right? :) Go get this one if you're a real country fan not a transformed pop fan.

Only ONE STAR at the top September 5, 2000 2 out of 12 found this review helpful
I love hard rock, and that's why I love Lonestar. But, NOT the kind of crap I hear with that Lonestar, needless to say it's not the same band I used to know! The Lonestar I am talking about is lightyears from this! The english band from the seventies got muscle, quite good rocking songs. I am really amazed at how I am deceived by what I previously thought of as 'hard rock'. Hell, it's not the same band! The "original" Lonestar (if you permit me this word) also included ex-Waysted member Paul Chapman (an excellent guitarist) of UFO's fame. So, if you want some powerful rock n roll, listen to 'Lonestar' or try, for instance, a song like 'Manuel' from the excellent Waysted album "The Good, The Bad, The Waysted"! Long live hard rock !
Upbeat Country Rock October 18, 2000 1 out of 1 found this review helpful
Lonestar's self-tittle album has a great upbeat sound, following in the country/rock style of the 90's. The album starts off with "Heartbroke Every Day," a fast paced song that sets the pace of the album. There are a couple of good ballets, although "Taquila Talkin," is definitely the best slow song on the album. The best song on the album is by far "No News," a great and fun upbeat song.I definitely recommend this album to anybody who enjoys the country rock style of the 90's.
The American CD!!!!!!!!!!!! September 19, 2002 1 out of 5 found this review helpful
I loved this CD called "Lonestar" & my favorite songs are, "I love the way you do that", "Runnin' away with my heart", "Does your daddy know about me", "No News" & "When Cowboys Didn't Dance".The people are Richie MacDonald, Michael Britt, John Rich, Dean Sams & Keech Rainwater. They would eat at The Lonestar Restaurant & hear this CD they made in 1995. I loved it!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
