Black Red Yellow rocks! November 10, 1999 4 out of 4 found this review helpful
Hail Hail is a great song. The thing is that you can get it from No Code. Black Red Yellow is worth the price of this single. It is pure and spontaneous rock n' roll.
A must have for True PJ Fans February 18, 1999 4 out of 4 found this review helpful
Good CD to own but if you are just looking for Hail, Hail I suggest getting No Code....However, If your a True PJ fan and just have to own everything they PJ produces then there is a great version of Black, Red, Yellow is on this Disc..... those are the only two songs on the disc.
Rare track featured with one of their best ever in Hail Hail September 23, 1998 2 out of 2 found this review helpful
Buy this Cd only if you're a hard core fan. I say that because you can get "Hail Hail" on the No Code Cd, but when you buy this single you get a great version of "Black, Red, Yellow", but it's an old school song, not for easy listeners.
Hail, Hail rips. Get Red, Black, Yellow. November 16, 2000 metheb (Seattle, wa United States) 4 out of 5 found this review helpful
Hail, Hail is one of the best cuts from No Code, a largely underappreicated effort from Pearl Jam, but it is obvious why Red, Black, Yellow found it's way to a b-side. Any song about Dennis Rodman can definetly be considered an embellishment and fodder for humor and innuendo. I think if you asked Eddie and the band they would like to have this one back. It isn't up to the high standard as b-sides like DIRTY FRANK, WASH, and LEATHERMAN (a song that repeatedly makes live set lists).

Black Red Yellow is an awesome song, and the CD looks pretty fresh.
