5 out of 5 stars Completely restores my faith in death metal.   February 19, 2001

This is a towering, monumental achievement. I haven't heard the other two albums, but this is a colossal disc. I was so taken with my Emperor and Marduk cds, I almost completely ignored death metal. This takes what bands like Sepultura used to do, along with Deicide, and beats it all to hell. Incredible blast beat drumming, killer low to midrange death vocals and some of the best guitar soloing ever. Production sucks, so what, get it, you'll get the point.

4 out of 5 stars Fastest Death Metal Band on Earth   November 1, 1998

Hearing this record I realized how amazing can be popular music, screaming vocals coming directly from brazilian's hell. Moyses and Max Kolesne plus Alex Camargo must be some sort of insane peolple to create all of these insanity called Krisiun, Guitar tabs so intensely arranged and quicly performed that would force Slash to ask if Moyses really plays the same instrument than him. the speed of the drums is up-rising in the record till it gets in a speed orgasm in the last track. Everyone that enjoys realy death metal should hear this band. Eaven quicker than Napalm Death and more insane that Impaled Nazarene.

    5 out of 5 stars WAAAAAAARGGGGGGHHHHHHHH!   May 22, 2000

This is the album that redefined FAST three years ago. Never before has an album contained this much raging fury. Over the top speed, crazy vocals, self-indulgent guitar wizardry, and furius drums, this is an album that crushes. Kolesne is the fastest drummer in the history of metal. Check out the drum solo in Evil Mastermind. Mind Blowing. Their newer albums are good, but not as brutal as this raging masterpiece!

    5 out of 5 stars Awesome Brazilian death !   February 28, 2000

When listening to the sheer brutality these 3 guys unleashes you have to wonder - Are they bred with Death Metal ? At about 2 years of age they probably started jamming. You've heard the term "fastest band on earth" before. These guys don't bother to brag, they just tear your head apart. The frantic speed and the extremely long and grinding riffs makes this album a total must-buy for all fans of brutal music ! Although the production isn't the sharpest you can rest asure Krisiuns intense music is...

Wow! From the amazing title track-opener to the final track, this is a keeper! This is quintessencial brutal death metal! Awesome! Max is very talented, I don't know how he manages to pedal the double-kick at a continuous inhuman speed! Evil Mastermind is insane! My only complaint is the drum department is the lack of beat variety...but at least it's a killer beat that he uses throughout agood part of the album. The riffs rip. Moyses is an amazing technical guitarist! Sometimes the riffs sound fuzzy due to poor recording quality, but it's certainly listenable. His technical solos hit like a mac truck going 80! To be fair, I will admit that at times it seems Moyses has little musical scheme as far as scales go when soloing, much like metal-legend kerry king, but his technique is great! Alex is excellent, managing to play difficult technical riffs live while firing an all-out brutal vocal assault! I suppose some occasional highs would be nice, though. I'm just trying to point out any of the possible negatives, but in reality I cannot say enough good things about this album. Although I have not had the fortune of acquiring a copy of Apocaliptic Revelations, I do own Conquerers... which I also reccomend. My other favorites are Dying Fetus, Amon Amarth, and Krabathor.
