A feast for the ears November 5, 1999 7 out of 7 found this review helpful
I really didn't pay much attention to Lenny Kravitz's earlier music. One day, I was rushing past the Hard Rock Cafe on my way to the bank, trying to get there before it closed, and I caught the chorus of this song. It was like I'd been hit with a lightning bolt. It pulled at something in me. I don't care what some of these bozos who have written reviews say; this song is one of the most painfully beautiful pieces I have heard in a long time. The hook is addictive. I could listen to the instrumental ALONE over and over again. This song (for me) is about leaving stress behind, about breaking free and soaring above the petty madness of everday life. I LOOOVVVE THIS SONG! This song is talkin' 'bout my generation!

A masterful blend of acoustic guitar and vocals. November 3, 1999 Brian Forsberg (suaveguy@hotmail.com) (Oklahoma) 4 out of 4 found this review helpful
This version of Fly Away is the single best acoustic guitar I have ever heard. It blew my mind and sent me to heaven on earth with the acoustical guitar solo. Keep working magic Lenny.
Fly Away is a cool song. June 26, 1999 1 out of 1 found this review helpful
I never heard of Lenny Kravitz until his song Fly Away entered Wyoming. Everyone in our town of 400 likes that song.
Lenny sucks frog feet! May 4, 1999 forrest.l.karr.2@nd.edu (Opp (Alabama)) 1 out of 1 found this review helpful
I really dislike Lenny's use of the word dragonfly. Obviously he has no respect for insects. Without insects this world would be a disaster. No food for fish means no food for eagles which means no food for me. Wait a second. I am not allowed to eat eagles.
