| Editorial Reviews:
Amazon.com When it comes to the Orlando-based Backstreet Boys, the world may be divided into two camps--detractors and hard-core fans--but no one can deny the fact that the guys produce perfectly polished pop that sells. The hits on this second European album (which includes five tracks not on the corresponding U.S. debut) speak for themselves: "Quit Playing Games (with My Heart)," "As Long as You Love Me," and "Everybody (Backstreet's Back)." If you're not one of the disciples, however, you may want to steer clear: lackluster attempts at R&B, saccharine ballads, and a murderous remake of PM Dawn's "Set Adrift on Memory Bliss" make this little more than a slick production. --Rebecca Wallwork

I am so glad Ilooked up Amazon to find if there were any more great releases by the BSB.The songs,10.000 promises.Thats The Way I Like It, and Cant Have You are truly proof of the ongoing talent of beautiful vocals of these young men!I love the orchestral background in these songs. Why wasnt this releasd in the US? A must have for any BSB fan!
Backstreet's Back Allright! November 25, 1999 Nicole (USA) 9 out of 9 found this review helpful
I think that this CD is an excellent follow-up to thier European debut. It's not as deep as Millennium, but backstreet boy Brian Littrell show off his writing talent in his solo song "That's What She Said" Other great ballads on here include Like A Child, If I Don't Have You, and bsb AJ's fav 10,000 promises. There is also some great dance tracks such as That's The Way I Like It. If you like the bsb, you will not be disappointed!

Whoa! December 21, 1999 Jen (U.S.) 10 out of 11 found this review helpful
This is probably one of the best CD's the BSB have ever come out with! I am a huge BSB fan myself, and the songs they sing are incredible, much better than the U.S. version. My favorite song has to be 10,000 Promises. It's just so moving, and the Boys put all their emotions into it. This is a definite must-have for any BSB lover!
They Just Keep Getting Better December 8, 1999 Music fan (USA) 5 out of 5 found this review helpful
This CD is better than "Backstreet Boys". The songs are deeper and much more meaningful. Brian does exceptionally well on his song-writing debut, and you can tell he was just warming up for his job on "Millennium" (he co-wrote the hit "Larger Than Life"). I don't think any pop fan could be disappointed by their rich melodic harmonies. You definitely should buy this. It's quality is the perfect mix of what made them internatinally famous, and for the maturity for which they are now known.
