5 out of 5 stars Great CD--If only Battlestar was on it...   June 22, 2000
9 out of 9 found this review helpful

I too am one of those crazy Five fans fow bought both the import version and the US version of Invincible. I think that they are both incredible, but I think that some of the sons cut from Invincible shouldn't have been cut, like Battlestar. Also, I think that Don't Wanna Let You Go or Don't Fight It, Baby should be released as singles here, not Keep On Movin', because the former songs would establish themselves in the US as the awesome group they are, and as I myself appreciate Keep On Movin' because I am a huge 5ive fan, that son probably won't help broaden their fan following. But anyways, Most the songs can be compared to the first one, except that Invincible is better. (i.e. When The Lights Go out=Don'r fight it baby) yeah, so buy this because it rocks. If you like 'N Sync you will like this, if you liked the 1st BSB album or the first 5 album you will like this, too. YAY!

    5 out of 5 stars I love Five!   May 17, 2000

Invincible is a great Cd. I have the international version with a couple other songs, but these are probably the best ones. I Love Five. They are really good at mixing hip hop, pop and R&B. I've got to get the new single.

3 out of 5 stars New Five   June 25, 2000

I thought this CD was not quite as good as the first one, but it offers new "techno" sounds that appeal to music listeners today. Their "in your face" additude creates a great atmosphere when in times you just want to belt out on the top of your lungs. If you like edgy pop sounds, i would recommend this CD, but if you are more into the voice of a musician or group, I would forget it.

4 out of 5 stars US version vs. European version.   June 16, 2000
2 out of 3 found this review helpful

Yeah, I bought both the US and European album, (fans do that sometimes, okay? Might be a bit stupid, but let's just leave it at that), and well, the US album does not contain the best songs. Although Don't fight it baby, which is on the US version is missing on the European version. So if u are thinking of buying one of the versions, take the European. U get more for the money, both because there are more songs on it, and also because the songs are just plain better. 5ive aren't a typical boyband, but their songs are still as meaningless as any other boyband. Take for example If ya gettin' down. Listen to the lyrics, and try to make a meaning of it.... U can't? Well, that's probably because there is none. But anyways, if u don't make too big a deal about whether the lyrics have a deeper meaning or not, and u just care about the catchy melodies and superb beats, then this is THE album to buy. Don't let their "hard-core" looks and sounds fool u, 'cuz they are truly a boyband, and of the best kind too. But of course the lyrics are not what makes a song into a good song, and that's definetly one of 5ive's best sides. My advice to u...If u are into pop and pop of the better kind, buy it! But if u think 5ive are more "Rocky" type of band, u are all wrong buying this cd. Hope it helped u....
