 Beware: this remix is DANGEROUSly good! January 13, 2000

Track 1: the excellent album version. Track 2: Hex Hector's Momentous radio mix. Track 3: Futureshock Midnight At Mambo remix. The only reason to get this CD single is to hear the outstanding eight and a half minute Futureshock remix; totally different from the hard NY remixes by Hex and Pablo Flores, this one goes deep, DEEP with Jennifer's chants of "wanna stay in this forever" leading us into the main vocal, that sparkles over an infectious piano riff. Then after a short breakdown, it's back to Jennifer's soaring overdubs, those chunky beats and that gorgeous piano. Non stop HEAVEN! The Hex Hector mix is fine, though it fails to do much in a four minute edit. PLEASE NOTE: if you want to hear a full length NY style, Hex mix as well as the fabulous Metro and (full length) Pablo Flores mixes, check out the Australian import single BUT beware that despite what it says on the sleeve, THIS (the UK version) is the only way to hear the sublime Futureshock mix. Check it out -You won't be disappointed.

Jennifer Lopez's latest single "Waiting For Tonight" is like the best song I've heard to date. I currently own two versions of her import single, but the one that gets my attention the most is the Australian import. This single has the Hex Hector extended vocal remix that just makes you want to get up and dance. Also included are the Metro club mix, the Pablo Flores Miami mix and Hex's video version of the song which is mislabeled on the track sheet. The other single only contains the original album version, Pablo's Miami radio edit, and Hex's Momentous radio mix which almost comes close to the video version. The radio edits are good, but they don't compare to the long extended versions that just keep coming at you. If you can get the Australian release of this track you're better off, otherwise you'll have to settle for the UK import. Either way as long as you can get any of Hex's remixes (rather in short or long form) it's all good.

Like many fans of Jennifer Lopez' "Waiting For Tonight," I have exhausted myself searching for the remix that accompanied the re-edit of her music video. I discovered this version on an Australian import titled "Waiting For Tonight: The Remixes." Based upon the track listing on my copy, one of the remixes are featured on THIS single, the UK CD#1. However, reportedly, the track listing for the Australian single is typographically incorrect. Based upon what I BELIEVE is the Future Shock Midnight at Mambo Remix, I would recommend purchasing this single if you are unable to located the aforementioned Australian import. However, THAT copy is a MUCH better bargain, for it features five FANTASTIC remixes. Regardless of the correct titles or song durations, every remix is unforgettable. I should also mention that, for those interested, "Waiting For Tonight" is available as a domestically released 12" vinyl.... available here at Amazon. It features the following tracks:[1] Hex's Momentous Club Mix [11:17] [2] Hex's Momentous A Capella [3:32] [3] Pablo's Miami Mix [10:04] [4] Pablo's Miami Mix (Spanglish Radio Edit) [3:59] So, is this import the version for you? Perhaps. Is "Waiting For Tonight: The Remixes" the version for you? DEFINITELY.

This in my opinion, is one of J.Lo's best singles ever released, and obviously, the best single to REMIX! The remixes that appear on this mix are phenomenal! They transform, an already good song, to an even better dance track. The best, overall, is the "Hex Hector Momentous Radio Mix". Lopez did in fact make a remix video with the track, and this is a hot track! The "Futureshock Midnight At Mambo Club Mix", is great as well. The title may not make since abit, but this mix makes up for it. Here are the individual overlooks:1. Album Version - The album version is always great! Good beat, pretty good lyrics, and it's a great party song! One of Jennifer Lopez's 1st singles, and definitely one of her best! - 5 Stars : A- 2. Hex's Momentous Radio Mix - What A Remix! It gives the song a completely new twist! Orginally, from a bumpy, drum filled pop track, into a beat-pouding trance mix! The vocal effect are great, but edited down to about 4 minutes, when the original Club Mix is 11:17. But still, the best mix on the CD! (and, one of the best Hex Mixes of all) - 5 Stars : A+ 3. Futureshock Midnight At Mambo Club Mix - Another great mix! This is very different from the Hex mix, entirely! The music is totally cool! The beat is great, and it matches the song so well! It is one of my favorite mixes of ALL Time! - 5 Stars : A+ There you have it, very short, very sweet! This is definitely recommended to all Jennifer Lopez fans, and all remix fans! The Hex Mix, in it's entirety, can be found on the "Feelin' So Good" domestic single, as a bonus track. Letter Grade : A-
