This is an amazing cover of Edie Brickell's "What I AM", sung by Emmma Bunton aka Baby Spice with Tin Tin Out a U.K dance duo. Out of all the Spice Girls who have gone solo, Emma has remained the most poppy, so this song will apeal to Spice Girls fans are used to the pop songs their group brings. Overall, it's a song that proves Emma is capable of a stunning single!
Baby Spice Grows Up January 7, 2000 Maurine (MD USA) 1 out of 1 found this review helpful
I really enjoyed this first solo single from Emma Bunton. It allows her to not only show she can carry a song (which she does gracefully), but explore her vocal range. I have always thought that Emma has the prettiest voice of the five (now four) Spice Girls, but with this single there is growth. In addition, it's a fun, danceable song. I did not give it five stars because the lyrics are repetitive, but Emma carries it! You go, girl!
Why Tin Tin Out? January 17, 2000 Robert Koehler (Tampa, FL USA) 4 out of 6 found this review helpful
Emma does an outstanding job with this song but why is tin tin out getting all the credit.Tin Tin Out did not say one word in the song. She should've just used the Spice Girls band. This single should be under Emma Bunton, not Tin Tin Out

I think it is brilliant and she should realease more singles like it
Emma is what she is and she is great! November 28, 1999 I've been listening to the Spice Girls since I was in 7th grade, and Emma has always been my favorite. I love this song! She performs well by singing with a strong, confident voice and by letting her personality out. Emma took a chance and it worked out very well!
