REALLY REALLY SPIFFY! August 10, 2000 13 out of 15 found this review helpful
OMG this album is soooooooo cool, and im not even a realy big fan of ballads!I Don't Mind--awsome. more of an upbeat tempo. Things You Can't Do--this sone gets stuck in my head all the time because it's so awsome! And i kinda like the message that goes with it. Whatever--you all heard this song so you decide. Creep Inn--you all heard this song so you decide. Get Down With Me--great! one that more of an upbeat tempo. Get Gone--you all heard this song so you decide. Ideally Yours--nica acapella. it really shows that these guys ould blend well together. All About You--I kinda like the shorus but other then that, it's not really all that great. Break Your Plans--my favorite track. It's another more upbeat song. Well done! There's No Way--another favorite. The chorus is sooo awsome. This one also has that kinda creepy feeling to it. Jealous Skies--not a favorite Never Let You Go--a sweet song. Thats all I have to say. Tell Me Why--another sweet song. No More--really nice, even though it is more of an interlude. Sexy Dancer--LOVE THIS SONG! It's more upbeat then the others and the guitars are so cool. Get Gone (Remix Radio Version)--Personally, I like the remix more then the real thing. This album is a great gift for anyone who likes smooth, sexy, R&B sounds. Even I love this album and Im not really into that sort of thing.

I am disappointed that they added these songs to the cd so late in the game. I have already bought the cd and I don't feel I should buy the cd again just to get one hit. They need to do a cd single for the people who have already purchase the cd.

One Hit Wonder!! Come Back!! December 20, 2003 2 out of 2 found this review helpful
In a genre where there is a lack of substance, Ideal (Maverick, PZ, J-Dante, & Swab) shows that there are still old-fashioned values in this newly-corrupted urban music market. As a group, Ideal mixes messages of general lovemaking and can also get a lil' dirty. That's what artistry is all about. Giving the fans an opportunity to appreciate your versatility and helping them relate to your craft. The hits "Get Gone" and "Whatever" are complimented nicely with "Creep Inn," "Jealous Skies," (a sweet reminder of not to bring everyone in the midst of your relationships) "I Don't Mind," the Take 6-style vocale in the a cappella interlude, "Ideally Yours" and especially the spine-tingling vocal arrangements coupled with a mid-tempo groove in "Tell Me Why." While extending the boundaries set by their H-Town predecessors, Ideal's style is exactly what the R&B group genre is lacking. Though Maverick's remarkable lead vocals grace almost every track, the group as a whole lends their creative ability with the aid of some new producers in Johnta' Austin, Jazze Pha, & Bryan-Michael Cox (Noontime Productions) giving this album zest and the fans some serious southern hospitality. Where are these guys now??
