It was stupid of me to buy this CD--I didn't know it's only talking. This is a CD full of interviews and radio station Ads and girls screaming, very funny, very real, (that's why I give it 4 stars) but no music at all. For baby boomer-Beatle Fans, this is definitely a classic buy, but for me, a teenager, it does not touch me at all, only boring....
Good to Remember August 31, 2002 kametamorphic (East Haven) I grew up with the Beatles. I used to grab up all I could on them. These interviews are a nice piece of "back then" and I love this CD. Good, I got that off my back. George and John are not really gone are they? As long as we can still hear their voices, they are not lost.
Words Lost from Memory August 17, 2001 hille2000 (USA) 0 out of 1 found this review helpful
Insightful? Perhaps. This is exclusively a conversation album. Yet the words are gratifying and nostalgic. The recordings echo very precious recollections. This is an ode to those cherished and fleeting times.
Excellent Recording and Re-mastering October 26, 2000 gobirds2 (New England) 2 out of 10 found this review helpful
Excellent! What other words can one use if you grew up with these four lads? As a Beatles collector I welcome any new addition to my collection. Large, small, tasteful, or even in bad taste, I do not discriminate. "Things We Said Today" is very prophetic and very good.
