Kylie's best kept secret December 29, 2000

This single did amazingly well in Asia, but faltered in the US, and even Kylie's markets such as the UK and Australia. 1997 was perhaps not Kylie's year, as despite a brilliant new album (simply titled 'Kylie Minogue', now better known as 'the one with the dark cover', and 'Impossible Princess') and a bunch of wonderful singles, she failed to make an impact on either side of the Atlantic.'Did it again' was Kylie's second release from that album (the first was the superb 'Some kind of bliss'), and Kylie's video for the single was perhaps her best yet. It featured four different Kylies - the grunge Kylie, the posh Kylie and other variants - perhaps a laugh at the Spice Girls, at the time. Anyway, the song was enhanced by the video, which remains one of the best music video events of 1997. 'Did it again' also does well as a single release due to the remixes on the CD single. This is a track that can be remixed numerous times, while still retaining its' original freshness and danceability. Highly recommended!
