Second of Two Great Nights in Philly November 3, 2001 doomsdayer520 (Pennsylvania) 1 out of 1 found this review helpful
Disclaimer: Owner of all 72 official PJ bootlegs. Towards the end of the second leg of the massive 2000 world tour, Pearl Jam really got on a roll, delivering four incredible shows in a row. This includes two nights in Philly, followed by Washington, DC and a riotous show in Pittsburgh before taking a few weeks off. My personal favorite in the entire bootleg series is the show prior to this one, the first night in Philly. For tonight's follow-up performance, the band is almost as good, putting on another solid and energetic show. This one has a less creative set list than the previous night, with no real surprises, except some relative tour rarities in "Faithful," "Gods' Dice" and "Rival," all of which are especially impressive tonight. "State of Love and Trust" makes an unusually early appearance (to good effect), while "Last Exit" and "Porch" really ignite the encore. The show ends with a flawless rendition of The Who's powerhouse "Baba O'Riley" which is sung almost word-for-word by the ravenous crowd. The funniest moment of this show is in "Soon Forget," which Eddie Vedder screws up pretty badly due to some very specific distractions in the audience. I'll leave it to you to figure out what the problem was.
UNDER-RATED SHOW!!!! May 21, 2001 Spike 1 out of 1 found this review helpful
Yes, this show is so very under-rated. I was a fairly decent fan of Pearl Jam going into this show at the then"E-Center in Camden, NJ"now the Tweeter center. Thats why Eddie asked the crowd is this Philly or NJ during the show. The tour listed the two nights as Philly, but they were actually right over the river in NJ. Also the performance of SOON FORGET in philly is clasic!
PJ in NJ 2 March 23, 2001 Thomas Magnum (NJ, USA) 1 out of 1 found this review helpful
Pearl Jam's second night in Camden, NJ is not quite as good as the first show, but still is great. "Hail, Hail" is by far the best song from No Code and in concert the band takes the song to another level, The Merkenball song "I Got Id" appears in a superb version and they close the show out with a reverential version of The who's "Baba O'Reilly". On the first night they played "Breath" from the Singles soundtrack and in this show they replace it with their other contribution to the soundtrack, "State Of Love & Trust" which like the former song from the night before is the standout song from the set.
Another Great Night on the Delaware River February 28, 2001 1 out of 2 found this review helpful
Ok, you may have read that I narrowly gave the previous night the edge as the better of the two Philadelphia/Camden nights. But let me highlight why this show is also a must-buy bootleg: 1) A rockin' version of State of Love and Trust...enough said. 2) A hilarious and touching Vedder moment as he appears alone on stage after an encore to acoustically attempt Soon Forget. Sure, he messes up (twice!)...but that's what makes these live CDs so unique: they're so unpredictable! Buy this one along with the night before and enjoy two consecutive shows of varied setlists.

i am correcting my own review where it reads: he appears alone on stage after an encore i wrote: after an encore correction, it should read: after a break sorry...and thanx for putting up my review.
