Beatles interviews dubbed from less-than-pristine vinyl October 18, 2008

Many of the dubs on INTERVIEW PICTURE DISC, VOL. 2 are from records with a bit of surface crackle. The CDs narrator, former DJ Bob Miles misidentifies his first question (asked during the group's Feb. '64 US tour) as being to Ringo, but John answers. The group's plans include 3 Sullivan show appearances and vacation time in Miami Beach.
"The Beatles Trip '66" is hosted by Ken Douglas. John talks about "How I Won the War," songwriting, his current fave tunes ("Here, There and Everywhere" and "Yellow Submarine"), future tours.
The guys speak a bit of German at a 1965 press conference in that country. They name their favorite German foods. Paul fields the inevitable marriage question and comments on the group's Hamburg days.
During a one-on-one, Paul discusses song composition with John, Indian-style music on "Revolver," audience reaction to their changing musical tastes, unruly fans in Cleveland, declining record sales, immediate plans, memories of the early days.

In an earlier recording made between shows, Ringo suggests a new movie (after HELP!) would commence filming January ('66?). He comments on leisure activities, family life, "Yellow Submarine." George is asked about his contributions to "Revolver," including the sitar, and speaks fondly of the band's "apprenticeship" in Hamburg.
