These are all really excellent, and deserved to be on the album the first time around.

-The remixes are kind of hit-and-miss in my opinion, but the good ones are really on the mark.

Even though it is a bit expensive, it is worth it to have all of this on 2 CDs. Get it now!!!

Kylie Minogue has accomplished a lot during the past year and a half. She toured a good pop concert, received generally positive reviews for "Fever", sold millions of copies of it, and broke into the States with her biggest hit "Can't Get You Out Of My Head", the previous hits being the late 80s SAW (Stock, Aitken, Waterman) cheese pop of "Loco-Motion" and "I Should Be So Lucky".

The Hyper Edition is an almost complete culmination of the material from her "Fever" era. Released in Japan, CD 1 contains the original album, plus four b-sides. It's polished, inoffensive, Euro, electro-pop. Although it's slickness can wear thin clocking in at over an hour.

CD 2 is the reason to buy this package. It contains three mixes of "Head", two of "In Your Eyes", two for "Love At First Sight", and the brilliant electroclash take on "Come Into My World", remixed by none other than Fischerspooner. The featured b-sides "Whenever You Feel Like It" and "Tightrope" are some of the best songs to come from this era (even better than some of the album songs).

All four videos for "Head", "Sight", "Eyes", and "Come Into My World" are found on CD 2. Directed by the talents of Johan Renck, Michel Gondry, and Dawn Shadforth, each video is a nice companion to the appropriated song.

Record companies are known for milking fans for their money, and "Fever" has many "editions". This is the best one hands down.

I think this may well be the best packaging of any Japan album that has been made! It is PACKED with loads of stuff compared to the original release of the album! Nobody can quite package an album like the Japanese can... It's just amazing! This version of the album, and the original version if that, are definately love at first sight! Anyway, here's what you get!:

~ Disc 1 includes the full 12-track album plus 4 bonus tracks. 3 B-Sides including Boy, Good Like That and my personal favourite Baby, plus a very good track called Butterfly, from the Light Years album!

This disc is worth the album alone but the second disc is also very great!!!

~ Disc 2 includes remixes of hits such as Can't Get You Out Of My Head (2 remixes), In Your Eyes (2 remixes), Love At First Sight (2 remixes) including the US Ruff And Jam Version & Come Into My World, the very excellent Fisherspooner Mix.

~ Disc 2 includes Whenever You Feel Like It, a track from the Scooby Doo soundtrack and Tightrope, another excellent B-Side. It Also features Can't Get Blue Monday Out Of My Head, but that can be classed as a remix of Can't Get You Out Of My Head I suppose. It is, dare I say?!?!, better than the original!

~ Disc 2 includes 4 excellent music videos. Including the superb smash Can't Get You Out Of My Head, the excellent videos for In Your Eyes and Love At First Sight, which are both quite similar, plus my personal favourite Kylie video (along with Did It Again, not on this album) Come Into My World!

The remixes, videos, new tracks, singles and album tracks from the album 'Fever' (Japan Hyper Edition) are excellent! Pick it up if you find it! Despite the expensive and high price tag, it is still well-worth it!

I was never a fan of Kylie Minogue, until recently, when I saw her excellent Manchester concert DVD (which I also recommend you pick up). This edition of "Fever" was also the first Kylie CD I bought. My mother has the basic US edition of the album, but I wanted to buy one of my own. In my searching, I saw there are several different import editions of the album, but which one was the one to buy? Then, I came upon this, and knew that, despite the high price tag, it was the one to get. Sure enough, I wasn't disappointed in the least. The extra tracks on Disk 1 are all really good, as is the rest of the stuff that was on the US release. The second disk of remixes and stuff is also quite good, and I hate remixes of songs. Certainly the best songs on the album are "Love At First Sight", "Can't Get You Out Of My Head", "Fever", and "Come Into My World", but on the whole there really is nothing that could be considered bad on the album at all. If you can afford to pay the extra money for this edition, or if you happen to find it cheaper somewhere, I really recommend that you pick it up. It is definitely well worth it.

I cant thank EMI Japan enough for releasing what has to be the best edition of the 'Fever Special Edition' yet! This edition includes all the classic remixes, b-sides and the original CD. Other than being rather [costly], it remains THE edition to purchase. Get it while supplies last.
