I love this CD September 18, 2003 3 out of 3 found this review helpful
I have been a Christian for many years and thought Christian music would never improve. I thought the hardest thing out there was Kutless. Well, much to my delight through internet searching I dicovered bands such as Soul Embraced, Extol, Living Sacrifice, Demon Hunter and many others. I have played "Immune" many times and love it more each time. It is so awesome to be able to feel the intensity of bands that aren't just screaming about stupid stuff. Life is powerful and so is "Soul Embraced". If you like your music as driven as you buy "Immune".

I've had this cd for awhile. This is an album that grows on you the more u listen to it. At first I thought it was good, just not great. But the more I listened the more I liked. My favorite songs on this cd are "I Bury You", "Abandoned", "Someone Just Walked Across My Grave", and "Own Your Own". If your a Living Sacrifice fan then pick this one up.
I am amazed, astonished, and surprised at Immune! February 2, 2004 Slothmo (CA) 1 out of 1 found this review helpful
This CD is amazing! It breaks boundaries! It makes Korn sound like wimps! If you are Christian and are in need of heavy metal, then I suggest that you pick up both "This is My Blood" and "Immune". These are CDs from the group Soul Embraced, one of the best metal musicicans around! Even if you are not Christian and were deeply disappointed with Korn's "Take A Look in the Mirror", please pick up "Immune" it will make you feel happy! I admit that SE have softened up, but I think its for the better. To me, "TIMB" was a little too hard and edgy. But with "Immune" they have made an album suitable for all metal heads! Do pick this CD up, and go see them on tour if they come to your town!
A mix between MuDvAyNe, Zao, and Living Sacrifice May 8, 2003 1 out of 1 found this review helpful
This CD is awesome. A different sound from "This is My Blood" and it is not as heavy, but definately catchier. You must get this!
where did I hear this before? October 17, 2007 king beagley (warsaw, in usa) I have been a hard rock/metal listener since the age of 14 and these guys amaze me. they sound like the Everdawn with Arch Enemy singer Angela Gossow taking over vocals, and they even have some melodic singing thrown in for good measure. for more variety of Christian rock/metal, purchase As I Lay Dying, Zao, Petra (RIP), Stryper, Bloodgood (RIP), Extol, Jacobs Dream, Tourniquet, Hangnail, Demon Hunter, Mortification, Narnia, Showdown, Underoath, Kutless, Norma Jean, Flee The Seen, and War Of Ages, as well as Living Sacrifice (RIP).
