3 out of 5 stars Good pop, not rap   January 20, 2004
11 out of 12 found this review helpful

Not so bad actually, many songs are fun and radio friendly, not that he's a super rapper but his lyrics are sometimes funny. Ok, Nick has got alot of help cause he's on tv + that many "good" artists appear on his album. Rap fans wouldn't buy this perhaps but it's a decent pop album. "Feeling freaky" with B2k "Gigolo" with R. Kelly " Whenever you need me with Mary " I used to be in love" with Joe also Nivea and Biz Markie appaearing on 2 songs. Skip the first one with the super annoying Ying Yang twins and Fatman Scoop. But it's a good album, both slow and faster tracks, good guest artists that get's your attention, nice pop music. If People can buy pop-rap like Nelly why not Nick Cannon too?

1 out of 5 stars I can't believe this CD was actually released...   December 17, 2003

This is by far one of the WORST rap CD's I've ever heard in my life. You can't even call this rap. This is some kid who made a load of money off a movie and thinks he can rap now. This is a disgrace to all rap artists out there. Don't be a fool, when you see this CD at your local store... run far, far away!

5 out of 5 stars I want Nick SOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO bad   January 28, 2004

Nick Cannon is so hot he is almost as good looking as lother Vandross. I can't of the song "Gigyalo" and don't get me started on "Mi Reb." I loved nick ever since Nicolodian. To bad Im a guy because I'd have his kids.
    Love, Rob Lee

1 out of 5 stars the most embarrassing rap album ever   June 11, 2005
4 out of 8 found this review helpful

Nick Cannon's self titled album is the mosty embarrassing rap album I've ever heard in my entire life. He has the dumbest song titles like "Your Pops Don't Like Me". DUH! you can't rap worth a DAMN. That's why pops don't like you. And "Gigolo" is another song I don't understand. Becuae it features R. Kelly. I don't see how you can work for Nickelodeon, A children's tv network and then do a song with someone who has child porn charges against them. How is that going to reflect to parents of Nick Cannon fans if R. Kelly is found guilty?
