5 out of 5 stars Makes me feel very old & uncool...   July 23, 2004

The music on this CD is spunky, catchy, and unoffensive. My daughter is at an in-between stage as far as music goes - too old for Barney and the Wiggles, but too young for Britney and Avril. This CD proved to be the perfect middle ground.

Both my 6 year old daughter & I know all the lyrics to all the songs by now, so I often sing along with a minivan full of her kindergarten friends. Now, how much longer will she let me do that?

    1. Call Me Beep Me-This is the reason I bought this CD. I was watching KP one day and I couldn't get that song outta my head!(10/10) (Time: 2:36)
    2. It's Just U-Not one of my faves but it's still nice to listen to. From the episode "All The News". (8.5/10) (2:35)
    3. I'm Ready-I never listened to this song except the day I bought it. I didn't really care for this. (7/10) (??)
    4. Get Up On Ya Feet-Ummmm....Not much to say about this song. (9/10) (3:18)
    5. Celebration-Jump5 is 1 of my fave groups of alltime! I LOVE this remake of an oldies song. Another remake they did was EarthWind&Fire's "Shining Star" on The Lizzie Mcguire Movie sondtrack. (10/10) (3:17)
6.Say The Word-This is 1 of my faves on this CD. I'd heard it on the Disney Channel and I thought "I gotta have that song." I wish that there were more songs by CCR on 8it though cuz she is a really good singer! (10/10) (2:50)
7.Summertime Guys-Not one of my faves but still worth listening to. (8.5/10) (3:04)
8.This Year-I love this song & I love ATeens. Who is the girl singing lead?? (10/10) (2:52)
9.Work It Out-I got this CD 3 weeks ago & I still havent listened to this song. I heard the ist of it & I hated it so I skipped to the next song. (6/10) (???)
10.E Is 4 Everybody-I like this but not 1 of my faves, this is a REALLY long song (see time). (8.5/10) (5:45!!!!!)
11.ComeOn Come On-The 1st time I heard this song was on Big Fat Liar in the opning scene. I liked the song. (9/10) (2:30)
12 Naked Mole Rap-I heard this on Disney Channel & I thought it was so CUTE! (10/10) (3:28)
    13. Call Me Beep Me Remix-Not as good as the original but funkier and dancier(is that a word?). (9.5/10) (4:38)
Overall this is a GREAT CD!!!!!!!11

4 out of 5 stars You may be hearing these songs in your head all day long...   June 30, 2004

I have a 5-year-old daughter who is in love with KP. For me, KP sure beats a "Disney Princess" as a role model. Despite the fact that my kid was raised on decidedly "non-Pop" tunes, she loves this CD and plays it whenever she can. The songs are mostly about friendship and helping, so that's good. There are a few about boys and love, which is OK I guess, but I'm sure she could care less about them at this age. Anyway, the songs are somewhat infectious and you may be hearing them in your head while you are at work, despite yourself.

4 out of 5 stars good g-rated pop music fun   March 6, 2004

I was kinda doubtful about buying this for my girls, but I gave in, and after listening a few times I have to give it a decent rating. I'm not familiar with the artists featured, but there's nothing objectional on the CD, and the music is fun and danceable.

5 out of 5 stars Kids Love It   September 7, 2003

I'm a teacher and I let my students listen to this CD on Fridays. They absolutely love it! They really like "Call Me Beep Me," "Celebration," and "The Naked Mole Rap." "The Naked Mole Rap" has become their favorite! They even think the class hamster looks like a naked mole rat!
