Now I am a pop fan so this will be a true review. Well, unlike the past pop-princesses, Hilary is not sexual at all and keeps things on a G-rated basis which is actually kind of good. The songs are catchy ad the ballads are soft, her voice is pretty alright.. much different from Britney and Christina. The catchy songs are really great to dance to and move your head to... its great! Songs like "So Yesterday, Come Clean, Party Up, Sweet 16 and Why Not" just get you straight into a good mood while "Love Just Is, Anywhere But Here, Love Just Is, Inner Voice" are nice to lay back and enjoy the ballads. Overall.... IF YOU LIKE POP!!!!! this is a great addition to your CD collection...and if you dont.... why the heck are you spending your time here?

A few of the songs are a little cheesy and/or shallow, and some parts are a bit overproduced, but besides that this is a very strong and enjoyable album. Hilary sings within her voice well, without forcing it to sound like someone else (something she doesn't do quite as well in her self-titled album). It's not a spectacular voice, but it's pleasant...and often times pleasant is easier to listen to than spectacular.

My two favorite songs are "Come Clean" (which has a wonderful message about grace and new beginnings, which is completely lost in the music video of the song, which cheapens it by making it about waiting for some guy to come) and "Love Just Is" (cheesy lyrics, but very beautiful melody).

This is a very impressive first album, which establishes Hilary as more than an actress and a pretty face.

This cd is the best cd ever!!! Hilary Duff has such a great voice and all of her songs are awesome!!!! My favorites were Anywhere but Here, Metamorphosis, and Party Up.

1. So Yesterday- 10/10- great song for the single
2. Come Clean- 10/10- great song I love the chorus
3. Workin' it Out- 9/10- fun song, I love the beat
4. Little Voice- 9/10- different type of song for Hilary but its awesome
5. Where did I go right?- 9/10- slower song
6. Anywhere but Here- 10/10- this is one of my fave. songs, I love the words and the beat
7. The Math- 9/10- fun song to dance to
8. Love Just Is- 10/10- really pretty song
9. Sweet Sixteen- 9/10- really fun song about growing up
10. Party Up- 10/10- another one of my faves. great song to dance to
11. Metamorphosis- 10/10- another one of my faves. another great song to dance to
12. Inner Strength- 9/10- pretty song but i wish it was longer
13. Why Not- 10/10- you've all heard this one, it never gets old, i like how they made a new first verse

I highly recommend buying this cd because it's awesome. You will definetly get you're moneys worth. Go Hilary Duff!!!!!

I am happy to let my daughter listen to this CD. Hilary Duff is one of a very few positive role models out there for young girls. I would much rather let her listen to this than Britney or Christina or a lot of other stuff out there today. She's 16 and I think she has a cute little voice. I think a lot of the negative comments out there are from people who take this all too seriously. For heaven's sake, Hilary Duff is a kid. Some call her spoiled, say she can't act, can't sing, blah blah blah. If she was my daughter, I'd spoil her too, so there.

People,people, please.Don't get me wrong!I love pop music.This is not good pop.

1.Subject-Singing.Hilary Duff can't sing.She has a s-t-u-p-i-d voice.She really does sound bad at LIVE.A reviewer named Molly said her voice sounded like nails on chalkboard.It does.

2.Subject-Lyrics.Have you have the song "Love Just Is?"She said "Love just is whatever it may be."If I were Hilary I'd tell what it really means.She also said "Nothing's ever what it seems in your life or in your dreams/It don't make sense what can you do/So I won't try making sense of you." See it doesn't make sense."What Is Love" by Play, really tells what love really is.

3.Subject-Teens.This is not teen music.This is dumb 7 year old music.Oh yeah, 10-12 year olds, too.Teens have a better vision.So, they know more.

Q.How do I know all this? A.Well I didn't buy the album.I listened to it in my little cousin's house.She loved it so much she became addicted to it.She replayed the album again and again.I could not stand listening it once more.The first time I heard mistakes Hilary made.

Note to Hilary:Hilary you just can't sing.Go back to acting(Like you're good at that).So just get a job like selling donuts.
