5 out of 5 stars Awesome cd! Awesome artists!   November 17, 2003

The first track I heard from this cd was Naggin. I heard it on Mtv-2's Hip Hop Show. When I heard it, I was like, that was one awesome song! I waited like 3 weeks, and tonight, I got "Me and My Brother," and it is very, very cool. Tracks like Salt Shaker and Georgia Dome are songs that will get you up and jumpin' like Lil' Jon. Other tracks such as Naggin' and Grey Goose will make you wonder, "why didn't I get this a long time ago?!" Georgia Dome is the sequel to Lil Jon and the Eastside Boy'z Get Low, but not as good.

The beats: The best thing about this cd is the beats. They keep you hooked on the songs and make you wanna dance til' you pass out. If that review didn't convince you to get this cd, go to someone who has it, listen to it, and GO GET IT!

4 out of 5 stars Why y'all dont like dem?   January 6, 2004

I don't see why y'all hatin on the Ying Yang Twins. It seems to me that y'all juss dont like down south music. And to say their lyrics is bad is just stupid. Yea they be sayin crazy stuff, but they aint like commercial rap, they doin their own thing wit a unique style. Not quite Lil Jon, but you gotta understand that down south music is about yellin, drankin, and juss crazy stuff that noone else rap about. Y'all prolley turn on the radio and hear Chingy, Luda, Outkast, etc. and then hear Ying Yang, YoungBloodz, and Petey Pablo and be like "They wak" cuz y'all aint used to down south music. Myself, I like all kinds of music, so I aint hatin on commercial rap, I juss happen to like down south & hood music better. I dont care what y'all say, but Salt Shaker is a hott single. And Naggin' hott too. I dont kno how you gon diss they beats....Southern beats is ALWAYZ hott. It's crazy. YoungBloodz also got a good cd, and Petey's "Diary Of A Sinner" is juss CRAZY! Im tellin you. He say some crazy stuff that make you think about ya life. Inspiring. But, anyway, back to Ying Yang. The point is I think y'all dont like dem cuz y'all dont like they style, but dont hate on dem & give dem bad reviews. There are some people out there that like Southern Music, so they should post some reviews too. I got it and Im happy wit it. I suggest people that like Crazy Hype Down South Party Music should COP DIS CD Y'ALL!!!!

    4 out of 5 stars Zone 1 (Right Here!) Zone 2 ( Right Here!)   September 23, 2003

Ying Yang Twins definitely surprised the heck out of me with this album. If you have been alive the past couple months than you have undoubtedly heard `Get Low' at least once. That song heightened anticipation for the album. Now I never really particularly liked them, I mean they were kinda aight when they used to work with JD & Lil John on them So So Def Bass All Star albums; I thought their previous albums were decent at best. I expected this album to have just a couple of really crunk songs and the rest of it be filler, but to my amazement I can listen to the album straight through.

The album is fast paced...so if you feeling down...this will definitely get you up and moving. The beats are basically amazing (produced by Beat-In-Azz for Collipark (College Park) Music Inc.) and the choruses are definitely catchy. I found myself singing along after the first listen. Don't expect a bunch of lyricism though (like only idiots would expect out of this type of album), instead you get fun, catchy lyrics, tight flows, and top of the line beats perfect to ride to or get it poppin to. Kaine & D-Roc serve their purpose and they do it better than most (Sammy Sam who ironically appears on the album). The best songs to me are Hanh, Grey Goose ( which lets a rather tight and superior beat ride out for nearly two minutes!), Salt Shaker, Georgia Dome, Callin All Zones, and Naggin. The only songs I didn't care for were What The F? featuring Bonecrusher and Killer Mike, and Naggin Part 2 The Answer which is just stupid. But the rest of the album is definitely bumping. I would recommend this album to anyone who likes Dirty South music. If you liked Get Low then wtf are you waitin on? 4.5/5

3 out of 5 stars "Salt Shaker"   February 13, 2004

I think this cd is straight. The only song that I can listen to without getting tired off is "Salt Shaker." It's another hit like "Get Low." Yeah, there lyrics aren't the best ever, but they do have some tight beats and that's what makes the song. "Naggin" was straight also but there beats once again made it even better.

    5 out of 5 stars SLAMS!   November 9, 2003
A dude (The bottom of the spiral)

Anyone who rates this negatively has obviously never listened to it in a car with a good system. Every single song on here will have you thumpin' like crazy. Hahn in particular slams like crazy.

Aside from that, the sound of the Twins is just fresh as all hell. I've heard just about everything, and this is one of the damn best CDs I've heard in years. Original, great sound, slams from start to finish.

Buy it, period. And if your car doesn't have a system, buy one just for this CD.
