his new cd has all twelve songs from the original version of shut up, but with 5 extra tracks added to the mix; 4 live recordings, and 1 brand new duet with kellys dad ozzy osbourne.
So here are my ratings on each song in order of their appearance on the album...
1.Disconnected 7/10 a good song but perhaps too much production.
2.Come Dig Me Out 9/10 a much more simple song, but with a lot more emotion.
3.Contradiction 8/10 a strong song with really fun lyrics.
4.Coolhead 7/10 a cool song with a sixties vibe going on.
5.Right Here 8/10 this song is good with real emotion coming through.
6.Shut Up 6.5/10 the title track is one of the weakest.
7.On the Run 8/10 energetic song, perhaps a little short(2.41)
8.On Your Own 9/10 one of my favourites really good.
9.Too much of You 8/10 fun with a good chorus.
10.Papa Don't Preach 7/10 not one of the best but should not be dismissed.
11.Everythigs Alight 10/10 My favourite song, really upbeat and fun.
12More than Lifetself 7/10 not the best song as its more downbeat, but as its dedicated to her mum,Sharon, i can forgive her.
13.Dig Me Out (LIVE) 10/10 a lot better as it was how Kelly wrote the song to be played!
14.Disconnected (LIVE) 9/10 great as it is more punky and raw.
15.Too Much of You (LIVE) 10/10 really fun and stripped down
16.On the Run (LIVE) 9/10 Although its even faster than the orginal this adds to the impact.
17.Changes the Duet with Ozzy 10/10 although its slow its full of emotion.

If you haven't bought Shut Up and you were thinking about it, don't! What you need to do is buy Changes! Which is a rerelease of Shut Up but with things added to it! So the CD has 13 songs from the previous CD along with 4 Live tracks from Kelly's Shut Up tour, which are so0o0o great! It really feels like your at the concert! I Love the Live version of On The Run because it has a fantastic intro that you won't find on the regular version of the song! It also has Changes one of the sweetet duets i have ever heard! Featuring Ozzy since this was his song when he was in Black Sabbath! And its so adorable! So thats a total of 17 things on the CD! And you can get it for only $14.99 that is such a good deal! If you support Kelly you'll want this album, if you've heard her singles, Papa Don't Preach, Come Dig Me Out as well as Shut Up, and you liked it, you'll fall in love with this CD! Changes is a mix of rock/pop/metalish sounds and is an awesome cd! Kelly has such a unique voice, and her band have such an incredible sound! The CD rocks plain and simple! so GET IT TODAY!

1 out of 5 stars please shut up already!!   November 12, 2003

Okay kelly fans now you have to admit that she's a sell-out, can't sing at all, and is a big fat leech on society. She doesn't give a crap about the few fans she has and never will. If it wasn't for her father an MTV we wouldn't know she existed! She also thinks she can take on Christina Aguilera and thats just stupied and kind of scary.............................thank you.

P.S. When the reality show goes of the air......she will be forgotten in less then a month!

    1 out of 5 stars I want my $2.50 back!   December 11, 2003
5 out of 10 found this review helpful

I paid $2.50 for this album at my local pawn shop. Its worth about that much. Who ever told this girl that she could sing? For that matter who ever told her that she had talent! These songs are nothing new its all been done before. She had to do "Papa don't preach" to sell the original and she had to do "Changes" with her father to sell this one! Well in both cases it didn't work though.
Another thing that urks me about her is that she thinks she is such a huge rolemodel for fat teen girls. (Again its already been done) Her singing is more on the screaming side. And I think I've seen more of her music videos played in the checkout at my local Media Play then on MTV. Even the parts I did watch its was like she was just walking around saying "look how famous I am" and "look how rich my daddy is" and lets not forget "I'm still a brat and I don't know sh_t about Punk Rock."

So in short I want my $2.50 back! And I want to stop this from everhappening again.
