Album Description Music from and inspired by the film "BEEF". "BEEF" explores the simmering street energy of Hip Hop as it plays out on wax and spills over from the studio into the neighborhoods of urban America. Rappers talk frankly about street life, how they got into the game, their favorite battles and current beef in exclusive interviews, rare archival footage, and never-before-seen performances featuring 50 Cent, DMX, Ja Rule, Mobb Deep, Ice T, Dr. Dre, Common, Ice Cube, Cypress Hill, NWA, Treach, Mack 10, Snoop Dogg, Tupac, Jay-Z, Nas, KRS-ONE, MC Shan, Busy Bee, Kool Moe Dee and others. BEEF chronicles early MC battles, breaks down the break-up of NWA, follows the rivalry between the East Coast and the West Coast that led to the murders of Tupac Shakur and The Notorious B.I.G, reveals underground disputes between rap crews, and uncovers the dark realities behind today's beef between multi-platinum selling artists Ja Rule and 50 Cent

Straight Banger October 24, 2003 This CD is knockin, don't pass this classic album up. Comes with a free DVD. Strange Music done it again!
Poverty Steals the Show December 12, 2003 Postman is a great cut - not to undermind the rest of the great stuff on this CD. I really love this CD and recommend it to anyone. Who is Poverty? This guy has some soul, man.
A Classic May 13, 2004 You should definately consider gettin this CD. It has lots of classic beef songs, the best being the two by Tech N9ne, "Beef" and "Snake Ya", "That's It", by KRS-ONE, "Murder By #s", by SS, and "Let's Go", by Warren G and KRS-ONE. And the last song, "F The Police" is another classic song. ...& I'm Out Like That~Phat Gat~
This beef isnt cooked good enough. July 31, 2005 I loved the documentary and I thought I would love the soundtrack. But I thought wrong. There is only 3 songs from the movie. Real Mutha****in G's, No vaseline, and west side slaughterhouse(which is the best song on the album). There is a couple of other good tracks. KRS diss to Nelly is definately worth owning. MC SHAN's track and the movement are bang'in. All the rest is garbage and just didn't belong on the soundtrack. They need to remix this whole damn thing and put the disses that should be there. But it ain't too bad, it's worth owning.
