    5 out of 5 stars Another classic y'all!   November 21, 2003

This CD is very different from his other CDs but that is merely because he is older now and his rhymes and all that aren't gonna always stay the same, but he's still gonna rap the wicket sh*t, and he doesn't fail to do that in "Repentence". Songs like "Woo Woo Woo Woo" and "Boss Up" sound more mainstream but when the mainstream is tainted by the wickit sh*t then that just makes it so much fresher. "In Detroit" kind of reminded me of a hardcore old school Eazy-E song, and the other thing that i liked about this CD is that Esham didn't fall into the PSY rotation on structure and producing. Don't get me wrong, Psychopathic Records will always be my favorite, and i'm down with the clown for life, but Esham can't be tainted, and he really shows that in this CD, especially the song "All of my Life" which is the most jaw dropping song i've ever heard from Esham because he has never done a song like that before and it sounded perfect! Much props to Esham!

Man, im actually glad thiz cd iz still worth my money. Esham soundz a lil different from hiz previous albumz because it haz a more hip-hop beat than acid rap...(it even sayz in da cover..fine detriot hip-hop)...but I actually still like it...It haz some wicked songz, some songz bout life in Detroit...n some stuff in the past...some people gave thiz cd 1 to 3 starz on thiz cd because Esham iznt hardcore az hiz previous albumz...Well I think it iz one of hiz best...and it iz probably the best album in 2003 (next to 3-6 mafia)...Well if you like Esham talkin bout Reel Life $h!t then thiz album iz very recommended fo ya...but if you like only hiz hardcore $h!t (like k!lla $h!t only) then itz betta to give it a listen first...overall thiz cd deservez mo den 5 starz (In my opinion). N he still disses FEminem n She 12...LOL...Favorite songz: Boom (Thiz track iz hardcore az hell...my favorite part iz when Violent J disses dem idiotz D12 :) Ex-girlfriend, Woo Woo Woo, Back In Da Day, Detriot...So far Esham never dissappointz me when he dropz an album. :) Im lookin forward in buyin hiz newer albumz if it eva dropz soon.

5 out of 5 stars great esham album   January 17, 2004

this is another classic esham album, it is not as good as albums such as Closed Casket, Booming Words From Hell, Dead Flowerz or Kkkill The Fetus, but it is still worth every cent of your purchase. It is the best rap realease of 2003, better than any mainstream garbage. Good cuts on this album are Bang, an awesome track to start the album off with, gets u into the album straight away, Woo Woo Woo, we've all heard this one, a good laid-back track, Pay, another great song featuring the great bone thugs, No More Dying, great song one of my favourites this one, Back In Da Day, my 2nd favourite song on the album, Mommy, another great catchy song, Ex-Girlfriend, great lyrics, nice chorus, Look At Me, my favourite song here, just an awesome track great callaboration with Twiztid, love it, Brick, nice track featuring TNT from natas, Detroit, another song with TNT talkingb about their hometown, Boss Up, very funny lyrics, great beat, great song, No War, many other reviewers have sed this is one of the few flaws in the album, well he has changed his point of view over alot of things, i really like this song, All Of My Life, a nice song to finish the album off, with some great final words. Some songs i have left out are still good songs, but these are what stood out most to me. This is album isnt really wicket but that does not mean the music cannot be good. I recommend you get this, even if you havent heard of Esham or any of his music, because this is better than anything else out there atm, including eminem and 50 cent, they r sh*t compared to esham, they r sh*t fullstop though. Trust me, if you dont get this, then you are just sleeping on the most talented lyricist ever, and the best underground rapper ever (best rapper in my opinion). You are missing out badly.

3 out of 5 stars Some what disapointed but it is still Esham   January 3, 2004

Esham has always been my favorite rapper and still is but he continues on a downward spiral with his music. He made a good business move by signing with Icp's label which does receive top distrubution and has already earned him a few conections with some major hip hop stars. A collab with Bone Thugs and Harmony and he is set to do a tour with Ice Cube and Westside Connection. The only problem I have is with the new music he is producing. First the whole Repentance theme is hard to swallow. When he says "Word to Jesus" it makes me cringe every time I hear it. Don't get me wrong I really don't mind that he has left his Satanic roots behind. Some of the best work he did in my opinion was on Mail Dominance, Dead Flowers, Tounges, and the Natas release WWW.com. But Esham has always pointed out the hypocrysies of religion and this reason alone made him stand out in the pack of other rappers who indulge in sleaze and violence yet always seem to give blessings to the lord. Esham never hesitated to admit being evil and enjoying every minute of it. Esham repenting in his music also seems pointless since in interview he always claimed his unholy alter ego was always for entertainment purposes and he never took devil worship seriously to begin with. Born again Christianity is not the only beef I have with the album. Esham continues to dwell more into cliched mainstream rap. Always talking about "getting Doe" and even bringing us a far left wing(and slightley dated) anti war song. The appearances by ICP and Twizted don't help either. Some people like these guys I can' stand them. There are a few decent tracks here and there but overall a disapointment.

I like the song no war. You may have heard it Rif rocks back in the day ... They played this song at a time when this nation was blindly following Bush , and his rich friends agenda's. I realize it is still going on. I also realize that most of the reviewers who wrote badly of it. Have no concept of the clusterF*** dubbya has put us into. But one day you guys will when theres a cartoon about it , or something. I for one have respect for esham for not being a sheep. He is gotten over the whole satan is cool ,and helps sell records to mindless idiots phase. He has stood up to all these wannabe geeks dissing him. Thats something that most of us can respect, but the weak minded will hate..... I think this is overall another great esham album. But I warn you that closed minded people will not like it.
