This is the first single of Britney's 4th LP, Into The Zone. But it hardly matches the brooding sensuality of I'm a Slave 4U. At its best, Me Against The Music is I'm a Slave 4U with a multi-layered production that sometimes feel wrong at some points, confused at the others. Roping in Madonna is of no help since the Queen of Pop herself is in some sort of mid-life crisis trying to figure out how to make a better follow-up to 2000's Music. Undeniably, the song's stellar moment is still when Madonna croons how she'd wish Britney would bare her soul instead of lose control. For the rest of the song, you'll hear Britney mumble her way through like an inaudible Janet Jackson.

Unfortunately, most suffer from unjustifiable cuts in favor of shorter edits. The only gem here is the Gabriel and Dresen CLub Mix whixh creates a stomping club mix that surpasses the original (think Annie Lennox's Pavement Cracks remix by them). Petr Rahoufer already sounds tired while the rest of the mixes try to pass off as funked up versions.
Buy this if you are a fan of either artist. I'm a Madonna supporter but I am disappointed. I much prefer Madonna's Nothing Fails CD-maxi compared to this!

Wow each track on this single is considered reinvented from the original!
I love all of them but my fav Remixes are track 7# ,2# and 5#
I highly suggest this single for a Christmas gift together with this Artist new CD In The Zone!

This Single has 6 amazing Remixes of the original song which is track 1 and there amazing to listen to.
It sounds like a different song when you listen to the remixes!
