I discovered Sweetbox by accident a couple of days ago. I was browsing an mp3 download site and saw this album. I had never heard of Sweetbox before in my life but I thought I'd download a song and see how I liked it. I'm really glad I did. I loved it and now I own the album. I have over 300 cds and this is definitely in my top 10. It hasn't left my cd player since the day I got it. And there isn't a song on this album that I don't like....which is very rare. My favorite songs on this cd are 'Liberty' 'Sorry' and 'Lacrimosa'. I have played these 3 songs over and over and over. I love how there are so many different influences in each song. There is pop, rap, rock, gothic, R&B and more. Jade has a beautiful voice and it's also very powerful. And I love the lyrics to all these songs and I can relate to so many of them...some are almost like they were written just for me. If you don't own this album that is a crime and you are really really missing out because this is one of the best albums I have ever heard. You won't understand until you hear it for yourself so go get it!! I can't say enough about this amazing album....so I will end this review and go listen to it for the millionth time!!

I never heard of Jade or Sweetbox before in my life.Like others reviews I first heard jade sing on the final fantasy x-2 video game.(She sings some of the songs for the game)Once I heard that music I had to find more out about her.This CD has great songs.My Favs are Life is cool,Testimony,1000 Words,and I'll Be There.It's a good CD!

Most of the songs are excellent, the only one I have a problem with is "You can't hide" I am sorry but this song is the worst song I have ever heard, but I don't blame Jade or Sweetbox for this the person who wrote this horrible song should be shot. I got this album like a lot did because of Final Fantasy X-2. My favorite song is "Real Emotion". I love its upbeat tempo. Other than the one song I would give this album a 4.5 out of 5 stars. If Jade keeps going like she is she could easily overtake the Britney's and Christina's in the industry.

Ok just like many of you I heard Sweetbox a couple of times from there song everythings gonna be alright. but have not heard much about them after that. But sweetbox resurfaced in the U.S. in November of 2003 with the work Jade did from Final Fantasy x-2. And being a person who at one point did like popular music over here in the states it seems to me that I dont know the music genre are pretty much all the same now with hip hop being the predominate influcence in most if not all genres. However Jade's music goes a little further to distinguish it self from the britneys and christina's of the music business. Now some may find the music no to your liking but the thing is if you pop in this cd and just listen to the words and the emotion that can be heard in the songs. then you will see where I am coming from. on this particular album Jade mixes up the cd with different sounds some songs like chyna girl and sorry are more rock oriented while songs like so far away and miss you are towards the original forms of r&b. yet some songs such as everybody has a very noticible hip hop flavor to it. So in this way the cd tend to be very diverse in genres. This is one of the 3 cds that sweetbox with Jade as the front woman has released if you like this cd I highly recommend that you pick the other 2 up you wont be disappointed whatsoever.

As for her 3rd album, Adagio. Jade does a number of things different as well as expand upon what she has done in the past. Adagio is a brilliant album with each and every song bursting through the seams with creativity and talent, not only in her voice, but in her writing as well. Classical themes are seamlessly intertwined with Pop beats to create one of the most original and beautiful albums out there! Pick it up, you will not be sorry!
