Album Description "A Cinderella Story" collects some of the biggest performers in pop, but the highlights are certainly the four new Hilary Duff tracks (a cover of the Go Go's "Our Lips Are Sealed," "Crash World," "The Girl Can Rock" and "Now You Know." (The disc also includes "Anywhere But Here," a track from Duff's triple-platinum bow, "Metamorphosis.") Other performances on "A Cinderella Story" include two songs from Radio Disney star Jesse McCartney (star of the WB's "Summerland"), and tracks from Goo Goo Dolls ("Sympathy"), Jimmy Eat World ("Hear You Me") and MxPx ("First Day of the Rest of Our Lives").

Song that attracted me to Soundtrack wasn't included! November 3, 2005 10 out of 11 found this review helpful
I was interested in this soundtrack because of the song during the football game, "Hear You Me." If you like this song go for "Jimmy Eat World." Without knowing it I already had this song on that CD- I knew it sounded familiar. I am not really a Hilary Duff fan (especially since she got those scary teeth!), so the other songs don't interest me. "Our Lips are Sealed" is pretty good though, but I am not going to get a CD just for one song.
Awesome! November 7, 2005 10 out of 11 found this review helpful
The soundtrack was awesome! I saw the movie and loved it! The only reason I gave it 4 stars instead of 5 is because they didn't have Hear you me (the song during the football game) by Jimmy eat world. That was my favorite song in the whole movie and I was disapointed that it wasn't on the soundtrack. Overall, the cd had some good songs and you should get it if you like the movie. It rocked!
Not Bad, but it is missing at least 3 songs! October 3, 2004 8 out of 10 found this review helpful
I took my niece and nephew to see this film, and was actually surprised that I enjoyed it. I even thought the soundtrack seemed good during the film, therer was lots of diversity. I ordered the cd, and was dissappointed that 3 of the 4 songs I was buying it for were not included. 1 Busted - Falling for you. Great fun song, why it isn't here is a mystery. 2. The football song by Jimmy Eat World 3. The song that is playing when Hilary is standing at the top of the steps, in the Wedding dress. It MAY be on the cd by Jesse McCartney, but it is SO different from the film version. Anyone know who the songwriter of the song is? I think it was listed in the film credits as performed and written by the same person. Any Help? My last, and more minor problem is that I would have liked the different Version of "I'll Be", considering I already have this one on numerous other cds.
Ok Hillary Duff album, not so good soundtrack November 26, 2004 8 out of 9 found this review helpful
Wheres the music from the movie? Theres way to much Hillary Duff on the Soundtrack. A soundtrack is suppose to have songs from a movie this one had some but it also left out a bunch that were key and replaced them with a bunch of Hillary Duff junk. This would be an good CD for a Hillary Duff fan but for someone like me who loved the movie and wanted to hear some of the music from it, this is not a good CD. They left off "Hear You Me" by Jimmy Eat World which i felt was the best song in the movie. They also edited some of the other songs that were used during the movie which i can understand since younger children might be listening to it. Overall i think they used to many Hillary Duff songs some of them that i cant even remember when they were played in the movie and they left off "Hear You Me" which was played during the football game at the peak of the movie. I would recommend this soundtrack to all Hillary Duff fans but to someone whos not a big fan and was just looking for some of the songs played in the movie (like me) you might not like this Soundtrack (if you can even call it that)
Good, but... June 22, 2005 8 out of 9 found this review helpful
This C.D. was very good, the only thing that I didn't like was that my favorite song out of the whole movie (the football scene song--Hear You Me by Jimmy Eat World) wasn't on the soundtrack...and that's the whole reason I bought the C.D.! Needless to say, I was disappointed when I found out it wasn't on the soundtrack, so I had to do some research and figure out which song it was. Just so you know.
