Excellent Punk from Texas! February 15, 2005
Despite my being a fellow Texan, I first heard of Complete Control on Maximum Rock-n-Roll's online radio show. I bought this CD on the strength of one song (not always a good idea) and man was I not disappointed! Every song on this CD lives up to the promise of the first track (Reaction). This CD has barely left my CD player since I recieved it. The only way I can describe the sound is distilled punk-rock. The vocals are powerful without being too screamy and the music is fast and well-structured. All the songs are excellent but the standouts are "Reaction", "Sick and Tired", "Locked In", and "In the End." Not everything from Texas wears a cowboy hat!
If you like punk, you'll love this album February 9, 2006
You want something to get you fired up? This album will do just that. I bought this album after only hearing "Reaction", and it instantly became one of my favorites. A few months after returning from Iraq, I saw them at Emo's in Austin and I was blown away!
