| Editorial Reviews:
Album Description Somewhere out on the edge of the Atlantic Ocean, just below the Arctic Circle, lies Newfoundland. It is here, a thousand miles away from the trendy salons and boutiques of New York or London, that Sheavy come from and here the riff is all. With the eventual funeral of Stoner Rock now almost long since forgetten, a few bands from that period have maintained the support, or indeed motivation, to overcome the mourning of it's fated passing. Republic features 11total tracks. Rise Above. 2005.

| Customer Reviews:
If you like Sabbath, you'll love Sheavy! March 6, 2009 Roger L. Mackinnon II (Lawrence, KS) I haven't heard a bad Sheavy album. These guys do not sway from their roots, and I think they improve and impress on each subsequent album. Republic? is no exception. If you are a 70's Ozzy period Sabbath fan, you should hear what these Canadian rockers have done with this genre from the late 90's onward to the present. I believe you will truly amazed. If I had to single out a couple of tracks on Republic?, I would say Spy vs. Spy and The Rook are my favorites. When I listen to this CD though, I usually listen to it from start to finish. This is more than I can say for other albums that I have purchased, considering that I have a lot of music in my collection and I can afford to be selective. Treat yourself and buy this CD by SHEAVY and others from their discography. You'll be glad you did.
MORE SABBATHESQUE THAN EVER!!!! August 4, 2007 J. H. Infante (Guadalajara, Ja, Mex) Like Sabbath era "Technical Ecstasy" Sheavy delivers amazing tracks in Republic? more melodic this time than previous albums , even a improvisation vibe is evident almost jazzy like Sabbath "wicked world" Steve Henessy offers more delighfull Ozzys tunes and guitar riffs have more approach to Iommis style. Get Republic? you will be delighted same as I am HM
