5 out of 5 stars Best Hammerfall album in the last few years....   October 31, 2006

Last year Hammerfall's 'Chapter V' album was good but not quite as good as it's predecessor 'Crimson Thunder.' Now with 'Threshold' Hammerfall is back to what we expect from them & more! This album is rockin' track after track & it doesn't seem to get old. Don't pass this up if you're a diehard fan!

YOU KNOW WHAT YOU ARE GETTING. ACCEPT/PRIEST WORSHIP RIFFS AND BIG CHORUSES. THIS ALBUM IS NO EXCEPTION. THATS WHY I LOVE THIS BAND CONSISTENT AND WHEN YOU BUY AN ALBUM YOU KNOW YOU ARE GETTING A SOLID SLAB OF TRUE METAL. TRUE METAL FANS NEED APPLY AS YOU PROBABLY ALREADY KNOW WHAT THIS ALBUM IS GONNA BE ABOUT.

I'm a huge fan of Hammerfall's first two albums, but I stopped following the band after Renegade which I felt was disapointing. I picked up the newest Hammerfall release just to see what they've been up to lately since I hadn't purchased their last two albums Crimson Thunder or Chapter 5.

This album isn't all bad. A few tracks such as Genocide, Fire Burns, and Natural High are good, but this is nowhere near a solid effort as their earlier material such as Legacy of Kings and Glory to the Brave.

For me Hammerfall is a band of A level musicians who are currently writing C level music. My advice to fans who are considering getting into Hammerfall would be to skip this album and pick up Legacy of Kings instead which is their greatest album.

WOW... BUY THIS ALBUM. I was a Hammerfall fan then I heard this album and wow it is hands down the best new rock album I have heard since the days when Gn'r was together and Metallica didn't suck. so yeah if you like 80's power metal or fantasy rock you will love this album
