Amazon.com If nothing else, co-ed pop group RBD is hard-working. Or label execs want to milk this cash cow absolutely dry. Or maybe they're photogenic robots. Whatever the case, the seemingly inexhaustible parade of products continues with Celestial, RBD's sixth effort in less than two years and a precursor to the inevitable English-language album. It would be nice to compliment the group's maturity, but there's almost none on this plastic collection of pop pastries. If anything, the group's vocals seem even more limited--particularly the boys--maybe because they haven't had a break since RBD-mania hit. Dulce Maria's delivery still squeals with all the weight of a helium balloon, and the lyrics--passable for most able-voiced pop singers--overflow in their corniness. A prime example: "Tu Dulce Voz," a cover of Hilary Duff's chirpy cheerleader anthem "Little Voice." In Duff's modest hands, it was a flirty tween treat. Here, even with six little voices, it's a lump of coal. Single "Ser o Parecer" skips by on a percolating beat, but the English-language previews included here prove that sugar-coated mediocrity is the same in any language. --Joey Guerra
Album Description The latest release by RBD. 1st Single "Ser O Parecer" continues to keep fans hooked. A combination of Dance and ballads this album will be a favorite for many.

RBD has arrived!!! December 2, 2006 Boo Radley (New Jersey) 9 out of 9 found this review helpful
Celestial may well be the "breakout" album that RBD has been lacking. This may be the defining music of their young career. One that has the ability to draw in all those that have been on the fringe debating whether or not to buy an RBD CD. This is the album to own if you are looking to see what all the fuss is about with RBD. Dulce and Anahi lift the group into levels that just make the music so much richer and fuller. The instruments wisely back off and allow the group to bring their voices to the front so that you can hear their emotion and their heart in every word and every feeling. On the heals of "Celestial", is coming their first English album release "Rebel". "Tu Amor" has already started to be played. A mixture of English and Spanish but carried on the voice of Alfonso, Christopher or Christian. If you are late to the RBD bandwagon, purchase "Celestial" and sit back for the next few hours and be prepared to hear some of the best music you've heard in a long time. You WILL be playing it over and over and over again!!!
Love it! December 17, 2006 Anonymous (Miami, FL USA) 4 out of 4 found this review helpful
The new RBD CD is fabuloso. The sound is different but it still has that RBD charm. I love "Dame", it's so refreshing and beautiful. It was so good that they decided to translate it to English for their "Rebels" CD. The Hilary Duff song "Little Voice" sounds great translated into Spanish ("Tu Dulce Voz". I wish the song "Lento" would be on it. It's a great Regeatton song that RBD made with Looney Tunes so if you want it you're going to have to buy the Luny Tunes CD. Everyones voice sounds much better than before which can be heard in the song "Me Canse". This is a great CD for RBD fans and it's a vital part of your collection!
Great! November 26, 2006 Obo (London, On Canada) 4 out of 4 found this review helpful
I really enjoy this album. It's clearly the best album of RBD, There music is just great, something that you can ALWAYS enjoy. If you liked their previous albums I'm sure you will love this one =] They're so talented!
Solo por ser RBD!! July 18, 2007 Eduardo Solorzano (United States) 3 out of 3 found this review helpful
Great CD !!!!! RBD really out did themselves November 27, 2006 Genesis (New york city) 5 out of 6 found this review helpful
I can honestly say that listening to this cd actually made me think and go wow that is so true..lol i have listened to all previous rbd cd and while i liked them for thier quirky cute lyrics and beats it never really got to me ,in celestial however rbd sings about more realistic ,mature topics . The sound in some of the songs also have matured as well as thier singing. I in paticular recommend celestial(great chorus),Besame sin miedo(it has that quirky rbd-esqe sound with a refreshing beat),algun dia(great guitars in some parts)basically the whole cd is great it will be a well spent 13 bucks!
