    A great song from Confessions on a Dancefloor with great remixes; it unfortunately did not chart in the USA. The radio edit is the same exact one as you can find on the Confessions album. Jacques Lu Cont Mix starts off with Madonna singing "I can make it alone" (with drum sounds in the back) is repeated numerous times and get's louder with each verse and then "my sister's and me" is sung the same way. Madonna incorporates different lyrics of the songs at different time with the, pretty clever of her. This is a really good remix. Axwell Remix starts off with a record spinning backward and then stops and then is repeated numerous times. She sings the same lyrics as the original song the record spinning sound in the back comes in again. After that the synthesizers come in and she sings" Are you ready", "Yes, I'm ready and then it gets really fast with the middle lyrics come in, then " Are you ready" comes in again and then no lyrics. Get's louder with my sister's and me is repeated over and over again as if someone else is singing it. Madonna starts singing the lyrics from the original song and they are in a midtempo version. Junior Sanchez's-Misshapes Mix Extended remix has some interesting sounds blended in with someone else singing " my sister's and me " till around 1.30 them Madonna starts singing the middle lyrics with different sounds incorporated. The beat is very danceable and jump is sung in a kids voice many times. Extended album version is a killer remix and is similar to the original. She sings almost the original then sings get ready to jump and it gets louder and louder and then she sings I can make it alone few times referring back to her early years in New York City. She sings the original lyrics again and the vocoder is used at the end singing Are you ready". The near the end get ready to jump is repeated a few times , which is absolutely great. History is a totally different song than Jump which was unreleased till now. She sings about "why we can't together" and why are we separated by greed and hatred referring to the chaos in the world. This song is really good but has a different musical sound then the confessions album. These are great remixes and I recommend this maxi single.
