my favorite morgoth cd and one of the best death releases ever. this is now pretty difficult to find but trust me, it's well worth the search; 9 tracks of darksome, fearful, horrific (you name it !) evil. alternating slow paced heaviness (a la obituary) with the usual death blasting fury this album offers a surprising variety for a musical genre that has now lapsed into total stupidity and childishness (any cannibal corpse/napalm death fans here???). this is what death metal should sound like and gosh what an awesome production!
the drumming present on this album is unique, while the vocals are morgoth's best (especially on 'opportunity is gone') where the vox become completely lifeless and scorch your soul mercilessly. "Cursed" is just as good as "cause of death", "blessed are the sick" and "onwards to golgotha".

ALL I CAN SAY IS THAT THESE ALBUM IS ANOTHER CLASSIC AS DEATH'S SPIRITUAL HEALING,SLAYER'S REING IN BLOOD,SEPULTURA'S BENEATH THE REMAINS,ETC,ETC.BUY IT NOW..!!!

Absolutely great,between the 10 best death metal lps ever.Everything from the first till the last song is perfect.Music so powerfull,and full of feeling not hundreds of bands ever managed to reach to a level like that.Guitars and vocals taken from nightmares.Haunting atmosphere,a true masterpiece.Only for those who can appreciate..

There will never be such a release like that..Even Morgoth themselves cannot surpass it.This is the definitive Death-album one of the top five best ever.All songs are great ,perfomance from the band is totally great,guitars drums but most of all vocals are all perfect.The pproduction and sounding is this album's secret.It has a depth and it is so dark,sure you will get affected..I don't know how but it will make you feel very gloomy..Just outstanding..Great work guys..

Outstanding job here on the remaster. Everything sounds great. The whole line of Century Media remasters of Death metal (Grave,Morgoth, Asphyx etc) are simply outstanding. Nice bonus video attached here too. Buy them all, now !
