I picked this CD up from Starbuck's the other day because I noticed there was a Previously Undreleased live version of No Woman, No Cry. I proceeded to listen to the album on the ride home the next day. The great thing about Marley and the Wailers is one song can be listened to with excitement, and the same song can later serve as a lullaby at a later time. With over half of the tracks Previously Unreleased, I highly recommend this to any Marley fan - casual or fanatic.

The disc is comprised of 13 live recordings from five shows performed between 1973 and 1975. I'll go ahead and list basic information from the booklet since Amazon currently lacks in that department for this particular release. Note: According to the booklet, Peter Tosh is featured on the first nine tracks.

Track 1 - Rastaman Chant (Previously Unreleased) Paris Theatre, London, May 24, 1973 (For a BBC Broadcast)
Track 2 - Stop That Train (Previously Unreleased) Paris Theatre, London, May 24, 1973 (For a BBC Broadcast)
Track 3 - Stir It Up (Previously Unreleased) Paris Theatre, London, May 24, 1973 (For a BBC Broadcast)
Track 4 - Concete Jungle (Previously Unreleased) Paris Theatre, London, May 24, 1973 (For a BBC Broadcast)
Track 5 - Duppy Conqueror (From Burnin' Deluxe Edition) Leeds Polytechnic, Leeds, November 23, 1973
Track 6 - Slave Driver (From Burnin' Deluxe Edition) Leeds Polytechnic, Leeds, November 23, 1973
Track 7 - Burnin' and Lootin' (From Burnin' Deluxe Edition) Leeds Polytechnic, Leeds, November 23, 1973
Track 8 - Get Up, Stand Up (From Talkin' Blues) Record Plant KSAN Radio Broadcast, San Francisco, December 2, 1973
Track 9 - Lively Up Yourself (From Talkin' Blues) Record Plant KSAN Radio Broadcast, San Francisco, December 2, 1973
Track 10 - Trenchtown Rock (Previously Unreleased) Quiet Night WXRT Radio Broadcast, Chicago, Jine 10, 1975
Track 11 - Natty Dread (Previously Unreleased) Quiet Night WXRT Radio Broadcast, Chicago, Jine 10, 1975
Track 12 - No Woman, No Cry (Previously Unreleased) Lyceum Ballroom, London, July 17, 1975
Track 13 - I Shot the Sheriff (From Talkin' Blues) Lyceum Ballroom, London, July 17, 1975

On the opposite side of the digipack cover is a quote that sums up any Bob Marley live recording: "The beauty of Marley's music is that while it holds a special significance for the sufferers of the world, it speaks to any listener with an open heart ... The rhythms are as close as your heartbeat, the voice speaks a language the spirit understands. And yes, when it hits, you feel no pain." - Robert Palmer, RollingStone, 1994
