    Editorial Reviews:

    Album Description
After much speculation and rumour the Spice Girls announced their reunion tour and Greatest Hits album to the world's media this summer. Fifty five million records sold, an astonishing 9 UK no. 1 singles, three back-to-back Christmas no. 1 singles and with 'Wannabe' the biggest selling single ever by an all female group, the Spice Girls have very little to prove. The band are never out of the media spotlight, the British tabloids and women's magazines adore them and the British public can't get enough. 3.5 million people worldwide have registered for tour tickets, 1 million of those were from the UK.

3 out of 5 stars Decent but a bit of a let down for a spice girls fanatic!! B-   August 4, 2008

Okay so if you're a fanatic you bought the singles. So for 2 becomes 1 you get the version with Posh singing that bit instead of Geri (less politcally correct version about "boys and girls look good together" vs Posh's "love will bring us back together". I still don't get what was redone/mixed with my favorite "Spice Up your Life" song. I wish they did an extended intro like from the movie!!! Who Do You think you are is the video version where the ending (Mel C's chant) is shorter which is AWESOME. I wish Holler was the extended version or video version. Goodbye the intro is shorter i guess like the video. Say You'll Be There" I think that was pretty much the same, I was hoping they'd do the alternate opening they did on the Istanbul concert/Mtv concert

A plus is they did 2 songs where most reunion cds only had one new single. I wish there was a video for Voodoo

As far as the picture book, not much NEW PICTURES. Again as a fanatic i've seen most of the picture (in the tour program, in official books or photos) so that was kind of a let down. I guess that's a legal thing b/c I'd have decided to use a different picture from a photo session. Like sometimes you'd see the picture of them sitting on the floor sofa (released poster) and the alternate pose is on the official book. But i'd have used another picture from that roll.

    oh well.

OH AND I'M PISSED THEY'RE NOT RELEASING THE DVD CONCERT. THEY SHOULD HAVE AT LEAST DONE LIKE THE LAST TOUR AND RELEASED IT ON TV!!!!! It was the BEST REUNION CONCERT I'VE SEEN. Trumping Michael Jackson's/Jacksons even. Most groups just get onstage and just sing the old "hits." Spice Girls had costumes (some trademarked from the 90s era like Geri's Union Jack dress!!!! awesome and sometimes similar choreography. And the look was similar. Posh changed her updated blonde bob back to a dark color.

oh and did you see the Christmas commercial!!! the BEST. ANd the Victoria Secret fashion show performance!!!! most groups don't do that!!!! I.E. New kids on the block (what's up with that!!! i wanna see the 90s look for reminiscance. I'm glad Michael Jackson still wears the glove and black jacket for billie jean. Could you imagine him not dooing the choreography with the costume? NO WAY So Props to Spice Girls for this, i wished they'd release the concert though........

"Never Give Up On The Good Times" instead of "Viva Forever", but other than that, this pretty much covers it.

I love the Spice Girls but I didnt get to see them on their reunion tour. Thankfully this CD made it a little better, it contains almost all their best known songs plus 2 brand new ones. I love HEADLINES although it did take alot of listens for me to really get use to it. Voo Doo is good also, it is pretty old school Spice Girls. Awesome CD!!!

    3 out of 5 stars Totally 90s   February 11, 2009

This is a totally 90s English girl group that has enough sex appeal to make it work. The 90s perhaps offers the most to a critic- cheaply produced race oriented music that at times gives chills with homo erotic themes. Well the era of the band is over now, and this is a relic of late 90s material that can send chills worse than black metal. It was hopefully wasn't true but homoracial.
