Dear Ms. Britney Spears:
I have been a fan for many years and found your music to be an inspiration.
Please know that I am not a "Britney hater" or "Britney basher." On the contrary, I believe you once had immense talent and creativity. And, I am certain that you still possess the same spirit and drive as before. You were a musical genius. You were the best of the best and on top of your game.
Can I be very frank? You are making a spectacle out of yourself, ruining your career, and worst of all you're not being the best parent that you can be for your babies. Simply put, you're behaving like an a-ni-mal!
What happened?
Since you met and married your ex-husband everything changed. Maybe that's when your career "jumped the shark" so to speak. It's like you turned into Whitney Houston all of a sudden. But this was much more tragic. Because everyone knows that Whitney is a kook. No one ever expected this type of behavior from Britney Spears.
Remember a few years ago when Christina's CD came out (Dirty?) Everyone thought she was the low-life with no talent. Now all the mean-spirited comments are reserved for you and Christina has gone on to win a Grammy. It's like the tables have been turned.
No one knows what goes on in your private life, and no one should sit in judgment of you or anyone else for that matter. But, Britney you're throwing your career down the sewer; where incidentally most Americans think you belong. As I stated, I am not trying to bash you and I am not a hater. But like millions of fans, it would break my heart if you succumbed to the same demons that took Anna Nicole's life, way too soon.
As a long-time fan and just as a fellow human-being, I can only hope that you would seek help. Please do it for your babies. They deserve to have a healthy mother who is in control of her own life.
You are a very beautiful young lady (on the inside and on the outside.) It is reprehensible how the media has personally attacked you. And, it is also reprehensible how you are being taken advantage of. It is apparent that you are not well and MTV was only too happy to capitalize on your fame and name. Shame on them for putting you on coast-to-coast TV like that.
And, shame on all those trashy gossip blogs for posting pictures of you without undergarments. You have the right to wear or not wear whatever you want. But how can you think it is acceptable to expose your intimate areas in a public setting? Britney, this is beyond vulgar and beyond obscene. It really isn't funny. I imagine that you're either doing this for attention or you're simply not aware of it. Either case, you are desperately screaming for help. Someone please help her!!!
Britney, where is your management team? I know you recently lost your lawyer and your manager. Do you still have a booking agent and publicist and personal assistant? Do you have anyone in your life that wants to help you get well? If not, then someone needs to step in and take control, immediately. Because your life appears to be out of control.
I can only hope and pray that the people closest to you will bring you to help very soon. And, if they are incapable of doing this, I am hopeful that your record company will intervene and do the right thing. People should come before profit.
Life is not all about money and fame. What's most important is your babies, your family and the love and self-respect that you have for yourself. I hope one day you will learn to love yourself because it is apparent that you have a very low opinion of yourself. But, I still believe in you. And I think you can do anything that you set your mind to.
Please take care of yourself. Never forget who you are!

I've lost 15 lbs. listening to this fun, addictive song, seriously! It's great when you're jogging, it's very sexy, and playful, you definitely should check it out if you need some good workout songs.
Also I wish I'd stop reading reviews bashing Britney as a person, when you go to McDonalds do you obsess over the way these people spend their personal lives? Does it make a difference whether you're going to consume the product or not? I didn't think so, her personal life is seperate from her career, treat her the way you'd want to be treated if you were in her position.

This song is one of the best...I want to hear this song when I go to sleep at night, in the shower, at work, and in the car. Could have a better video for the song but really I don't know cause it's more of good feeling dance song was I guess the video is just really what people do when they hear it. Love it!!!!!

Consisent with all the great/catchy/memorable pop tunes Britney Spears has released since '99, she delivers with Gimme More, an uptempo, fun dance single with a great hook. her voice, though electronically enhanced, is perfect for this track, and this song has an awesome beat. One of the best dance pop songs released in a long time...
