Album Description Tha Carter III is the sixth studio album by rapper Lil Wayne and it is the final album in Tha Carter trilogy. Originally known as the youngest Hot Boy, Lil' Wayne has orchestrated a steady stream of hits. The New Orleans rapper began his long career with Cash Money as part of the Hot Boys, a popular late-'90s supergroup consisting of Juvenile, Turk, and B.G.

I like it a lot. The beats are good and his lyrics make you do a double take. Very clever lyrics.
lil wayne rawks January 12, 2009 KAT (Mentor, OH USA) This is a great album. Lil wayne shows amazing diversty with raps that are all over the map in both style and subject matter. I'd like him to get into politics a little more, but I'll take it. Save yourself the annoyance of oddly timed gaps. Buy the explicit lyrics version. The f-bombs really aren't that bad, and the "clean" version is overly sanitized. I'm not real keen for gratuitous swearing, but still. Isn't it time we all grow up and stop being such prudes?
Fireman review October 28, 2008 Carl Bradberry (Kent, WA USA) This review is written by Mr. Bradberry's students: I hate when people say that his rap makes no sence but if they were not mentaly retarded yhry might get that what he is saying does make sence. And that in saying that it is slow music okay you people dont under stand that wayne is take a no aproch. he isnt saying random workds he is mixing rap with a slower beat.Like in the song tie my hands it has a slow beat but the rymes are sick like when he says "they took away the football team my basketball team now all they got is me to represent New Orleans." I do have to agree there was some not so good songs.Like lollipop was a big hit but not lil waynes style. Its also stupid to say hes talking about nothing cause hes not talking at all hes rapping. Is there any other rapper like lil wayne no "they dont make them like him anymore they never made them like him before".all these crittics have nothing better to do is talk [...] about a good artist with a hole lot of talent.
